La cuisson au barbecue s'est développée dans le sud des États-Unis où les cuisiniers ont appris à cuire longuement des morceaux de viande dans un foyer extérieur afin de les attendrir. L'exposition à la fumée du brasier apporte une saveur particulière à la viande. Le processus prend plusieurs heures, en laissant la viande tendre et juteuse. Notre fumoir primé provient des États-Unis et il est conçu pour recréer le processus de cuisson de ces foyers d'origine.
