Godai by Sakana is located in the heart of San Juan. What started as a Omakase Speakeasy in a janitorial Closet in San Jose Building, quickly became one of the most sought after restaurant with only 6 seats and a waiting list of 6+ months.Godai represents our three concepts in one building living in harmony to provide the best dinning experience in Puerto Rico and the Caribean. It sits at the base of a typical Puerto Rican House/Building turned into a Restaurant on the corner of Calle del Parque and calle Finlay, Santurce.The restaurant has been owned by Chefs Cesar Vega and Chef Daysi since opening it’s first location in 2021 and during that time it has evolved considerably, both in food and in experiences.Chef Cesar’s tasting menu consists of Japanese inspired Omakase courses.Guest can now also visit the Godai by Sakana Restaurant for Chef Cesar’s Dining Experience with both abbreviated versions of Chef’s Cesar tasting menu and new menu to pair with champagne or sake.
