Great cheesy bread with every meal. It was a little busy with engagement parties and weddings, but overall, it was a consistent experience. All good.

Dining experience was not very good. We used open table to set the reservation. Due to an error on my part regarding the number of people attending, I had to modify the reservation which I did and received a confirmation that the changes to the number of attendees had been made. When we got to the restaurant, the changes did not show up in the restaurant's reservation system. Also there was confusion regarding whether the reservation had been made for the main restaurant or the lounge. We wanted the main restaurant but the reservation had been somehow made for the lounge. Unfortunately, there were no tables available in the main room so we were stuck with the lounge. The restaurant management wasn't particularly supportive and didn't make any effort to try finding a table in the main room. Their answer was that in the future we shouldn't use open table but should call the restaurant for a reservation. As far as the dining experience, the food was ok but the service was not. We had a hard time getting the server's attention once the main order was placed and had to wait between courses for an extended period of time. Also, the servers didn't at all understand the protocol that the lady at the table should be served first at each course. That never happened the entire evening. Overall the experience at Cucina Calandra was fair.

We all enjoyed our dinner. Everything was prepared well. I asked and was given a substitution on part of my dinner choice . I found Cucina Calandra service to be excellent.

The fresh bread with cheese was excellent. I ordered the grilled octopus (26.00) and was disappointed. I didn't care much for the salad that it came on, since what I was craving is a nice piece of octopus. It was too chewy, overly charred and it didn't seem fresh to me. Overall, it was a nice place and service was good.
