Come join us at Courses Restaurant at Ivy Tech Community College, offering a unique experience where guests dine in a gorgeous Mahogany restaurant that looks out on the beautiful Indianapolis skyline. Guests are served and have the opportunity to support Hospitality Program students while enjoying their dining experience. Our menu selections are centered around course of study for 1st 8 Wks - Specialized Cuisine and 2nd 8-Wks Classical French Cuisine. Menus items may change due to product availability/course objectives.

Due to course schedule Courses Restaurant is open Fall 2024 1st-8 Weeks for dinner (seating 6-7pm) at $25.00 per person on 8/29; 9/5; 9/12; 9/19; 9/26; 10/3 and 2nd 8- Weeks for lunch (seating 11am-Noon) and dinner (seating 6-7pm) on 10/31; 11/7; 11/14; 11/21; 12/5. Accepting reservations 90 days prior to dining date.

The food was impeccable and view is amazing. The students are learning how to be great servers but it will take time for them to understand how to deliver top tier service but they are kind and try really hard. There was a long strand of hair on the plate when I sat down. The waitress saw it and took it off the plate but did not change the plate. She did once I made the request. Allow for grace and tip well and you will have an awesome time. You can't beat the value.

This is a great opportunity for the students to practice and showcase theirs skills at customer service, hospitality, serving, cooking, and personality. It’s hard to give 3-4 stars when I want to give 5 for effort! The food is definitely a work in process, the flavors are there mostly, however the cook time may be off a bit. In my opinion over sauced on just about everything and they could improve presentation. Will definitely go back for another theme as their menu tends to support a theme each semester/quarter. Get your reservations in quick they fill up fast! Also, have to throw in the bartender was amazing and brought us a great bottle to pair with our food choices!

Went to Courses Restaurant at Ivy Tech for my birthday lunch today. Very nice venue and the food was great. It was our server's first day and he seemed a bit nervous, but we were well taken care of. I had the shrimp and grits (amazing, flavorful, and light), the Trumpet Mushroom Scallops (this was a minor issue: The menu made me think that it was a scallop dish, which is what I expected. It turned out to be just Trumpet Mushroom stems cut to look like scallops.) The dessert was an opera cake and it was so good. Had a cup of coffee to round out the sweetness and it hit the spot. All in all, you can't beat $20 for a three-course meal in a nice setting. Go check them out. I will definitely be back and I am so impressed with the students who are the real MVP's!

It's always a pleasure to experience the ambience and food that the Ivy Tech students prepare for guests! Our server was nervous at first, but with encouragement and practice, she gained confidence and even enjoyed her role by the end of the meal. The food was delicious and beautifully presented.

Our waiter Connor was very sweet and did a great job. The food was delicious and well plated. Plan on coming back when the menu switches next 8 weeks!

We enjoyed the same menu a month ago. The waiter seemed shy and without confidence. The food was served cool. Not warm and not the quality of our earlier meal. Although not as perfect as in the past, still a nice dinner

Our server was a delight. We don't remember her name but she is from Ivory Coast. Every student who gets us was pleasant. We will definitely visit again.

Had an absolutely lovely lunch yesterday. For $20 you get a three course meal, and if you want, for a little extra, beer, wine or a cocktail. The dining room is on the top floor in the old home of Stouffers restaurant at 28th and Meridian with gorgeous views of the city on three sides. Staff was warm and accommodating and is happy to please. Seems to be every Thursday for lunch and dinner. I encourage EVERYONE to support this Culinary School at Ivy Tech!

Courses was great! The lunch was $20 (plus tax….i had just enough cash for meal and tip….but forgot about tax). Tips go to support the educational process, i think. Anyhow, service was great, the server was a highly motivated and helpful student, and the ambiance was great!
