We are from NY but came to providence a few times-this is our second time at costantinos and it does not disappoint. We had a great waiter-mark. The food was outstanding. If we weren’t so full from the appetizers and main dishes would have gotten dessert but just couldn’t fit it. Love the music and atmosphere! Will make it a staple on our visits to providence!

The food was delicious! Amazing pizza! There was live entertainment outside which was fun. Our server was great. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

To start the hostess forgot about us after we checked in. Waited about 10 minutes while others were shown to their tables. We were then seated at a table that was not properly set and left waiting again. This restaurant does not provide menus, only QR code which was not available at the table. Fast forward 15 minutes to finally getting a QR code and a server to take our drink order. We then decided on appetizers, calamari and eggplant, both served cold 30 minutes after ordering. Dinner proved to be another disappointment. Bolognese was dry, steak was not trimmed and veal Marsala was more like tough meat with bottled brown gravy. We didn’t even dare to attempt dessert fearing more disappointment. Sorry to say this place, as famous and as busy as it was, is off the go to list for this couple.

Our overall experience was good, but 1st getting there, the hostess was rude, not abrupt, rude. She refused to seat us until the other 4 of our party of 8 arrived, even after I explained my brothers back injury and not being able to stand for a long period of time. Once we were seated, it took at least 10 minutes to see a waiter and order drinks and then another 10-15 min to get them. We purposely went to see the band, made reservations 3 weeks in advance, will NEVER go there again.

Waitress had a personality like a wet rug. The veal was hard and all vein/grizzle. My husband ordered the ravioli and he loved Al dente, not a brick. The meatballs were good, but we ordered two and the second one ended on someone else’s plate. The beer was warm and we had to ask for a glass for the beer 3 times. Definitely went downhill

Ate dinner here on 9/27 with my wife. Ordered a burratta and tomato appetizer, cavatelli and a pizza along with a bottle of wine. Food was great, cool ambience at our open indoor streetside table. Live music in the adjacent open air square. Service by "Kayla" was good until I asked to have the check split. Kayla advised me that the restaurant doesn't split checks and that the policy is clearly written on the menu and on the website. We didn't receive a menu, but were instructed to scan a QR code. Further, there is no such policy anywhere on the restaurant website. She further advised me that her manager would be upset with her if she did split the check. The conversation became a bit tense when I asked to speak with her manager. She advised me that she was a manager and I couldn't speak to anyone else. Ok, I paid the tab, left her a $19 tip on a $125 check because of her unprofessional behavior during this conversation and then advised her that I would increase the tip by an additional $20 if she split the check as I requested. She refused and asked us to leave, which was fine because that's what we generally do after we pay the check. She also needs to to study up on wine service. Great place to enjoy an authentic Italian dinner in Providence. If "Kayla" is your server you might want to ask to be seated in another server's area.

Great food for the price but if you wanna take your time with friends and family and enjoy your time together forget about it because you will be rushed with your experience eating and drinking and enjoying time with friends and family

We had reservations for outdoor seating, but we had to move inside due to the rain. We were in the back of the bar and it was a little dark back there. Food and service were excellent. They do not allow “outside desserts” and wanted to charge $5 per person to eat our birthday cupcakes there! There were 8 of us, so we did not want to pay $40 to eat a cupcake!!
