Cork Wine and Tapas Bar is located in New Bedford, Massachusetts and strives to serve delicious food made with seasonal fresh ingredients. Weekly food and drink specials are offered on all three levels of dining (Lounge, Main Dining Room and Taber Room). Local live music is performed on Friday and Saturday nights in the Main Dining and Taber Rooms. We offer exclusive event spaces for any function; please inquire with any of our knowledgeable staff to get information.

Although I have lived in the area for years, this was the first time going to Cork. The waiter was friendly, professional, and attentive. We had two entrees, the lamb and the scallops. Both were cooked perfectly. We did not leave a morsel on the plate. We also tried a new wine that is now our favorite. We will definately be going back soon. Top notch ambiance, service, and food.

We moved to the New Bedford area 1 year ago…have tried every restaurant from New Bedford to Mattapoisett, the dinner at Cork was the BEST of all. Hang on to that chef! Amazing.

The service was horrible. The waiter never came back to give us water or to check on the meal. It took one hour for the food to come. I ordered a caesar salad and it was out of a bag. The worst service and food we’ve ever had there. We will not go back.

Stopped in to celebrate my sisters birthday. Everything was absolutely delicious. Stand outs were the mozzarella frittata and the mussels. Honestly everything was so good. Chef Alie is a major asset to Cork and I cannot wait to visit again.

Great Experience great time, the bartender screwed up the check, but other than that, it was OK. I would highly recommend it and parking is a nightmare.

Overall, we had an excellent experience. The service was great, and the food was excellent. However, the heat could have been turned up; everyone was sitting on their hands.

A+ tapas dinner after a visit to the Whaling Museum. We loved the gnocchi, hummus, risotto, cranberry scallops, calamari, all were very tasty. And the ambience was awesome - a very old tavern with stone walls, on the water, felt warm and cozy on a snowy winter night.

It was not very busy on New Year's Day. Apparently it was very busy the night before. So maybe that explains why they were out of so many things. It's an interesting old building. The bartender/server was competent. I had the seared tuna dish, and it was very dry and not very tasty. My companion had a chicken marsala empanada which he thought was good. The drinks were fine. I can't get excited about the place because I spent a fair amount and it was disappointing in some ways. From the reviews I had expected more.

First experience dining downstairs and it was perfect! Waitress was awesome, the atmosphere was pleasant. Food was delicious!
