Corfinio has always been a favorite of mine. However the last couple of times the meals regardless of what is ordered have all been very salty. Everyone in the party felt this way. Also, during this visit our appetizer arrived before our drinks and my meal wasn’t as warm as it should have been. Hopefully just an off night.

Ordinarily I’d give Corfinio at least a 4 star rating but last night it was off. Our server, though very nice, was not as attentive as one’s previous and food just mediocre. Fish fishes had were small portioned and over cooked, salad underwhelming and one that was suppose to be split for two wasn’t done and server forgot to get it split so the couple shared off one plate. My bolognaise was tasty but the meatball I ordered to go with was very crumbly. The accompanying condiment tray that came with the bread looked as though it had not been replenished as there were only a few red cracked pepper flakes to Be had to add to the oil for the bread. Stragiatella soup was tasteless. May be awhile before we return. Much prefer Cibo Matteo in Mansfield which is owned by same person.

Food and drink quality is consistently really good, with great variety of both on the menu. This is my go-to place for business lunches and casual dinners with friends and family. Relaxed, comfortable environment with great service.

Chef Max is the best! Our dinner was amazingly delicious and so full of flavor. The service was excellent as well. We had the mussels, the truffle mushroom cavatelli (freshly made pasta), the tuna and the spinach pesto pizza. All cooked to perfection. The desserts were a perfect finish: tiramisu, crème brulee, flourless chocolate cake and the coconut gelato with chocolate. Yum! The fall cocktails were fantastic too. Everything was wonderful!

Corfinio is absolutely the best. Never ever have I had a bad meal. I am there usually twice a month. Last night I had the tuna. Scrumptious!!! Husband had bolognese. Delicious! Grilled octopus with a carrot purée for appetizer. Very different and very good!!! The only complaint I had was that the service was horrendous. So unusual. Half the fun of Corfinio is their waitstaff. So friendly, attentive. Last night was not great. I left 18% which is very low for me. I hope this was a one off. Everyone has a bad day…
