Delight in your choice of the 40-day dry-aged Angus Hereford sirloin or the Alan Barrow Brook Street Farm leg of lamb, served alongside root vegetables, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, and red wine jus. Alternatively, try the Poulet, a roasted corn-fed chicken supreme, accompanied by garlic-infused truffled mash potato and a creamy mushroom sauce. TWO COURSES | £35 | THREE COURSES | £40

Our “La Formule” Express Lunch menu stars a juicy cut of English Beef Onglet, a housemade shallot sauce, a portion of pomme frites and a creme caramel dessert for only £19. We know your lunch break is tight so we guarantee you’ll have your meal in 30 minutes. “La Formule” is available Monday to Saturday from 12pm to 2.45pm when seated in our beautiful bar area, or the terrace (weather depending!) Great venue for a City dinner. The food is good, as is the wine list. Attentive but unobtrusive staff and a nice dining area, good ambiance.

The Coq d'Argent in the heart of the City of London may not be the obvious choice for a weekend family birthday lunch but it is a hidden gem. The Sunday Lunch Menu (2 -3 three courses) gives an wide range of excellent choices and includes Sunday roasts. The quality of food, the service and location makes it a joyous experience

Lovely family lunch...ordered the comte tart and chicken main...both delicious 😋 . Sommelier on hand to advise on wine to accompany food...very knowledgeable and attentive. Fantastic service from everyone.

Great food, very attentive and excellent staff. The only issue is that the food took quite a long time to arrive, it was easily one of the longest lunches we've had. Throughout the meal, the staff were very attentive and made sure we had drinks while waiting for our meal.

Food was really nice & the service was excellent. They also brought a surprise for my sister’s birthday which was a lovely touch!

I do love the Coq d”Argent and have had lunch there many times. The location is so convenient wherever around London you live or work. The approach through the lift and the garden is always special and the welcome and service always extremely appropriate for the type of restaurant and clientele it is/has. Today’s menu was varied and I could easily have chosen several starters and mains. Those I did choose were excellent, perfectly cooked and not too heavy. I shall be back soon.

I have been to this restaurant various times and it has never disappointed me. The food was excellent and on this last occasion we were looked after extremely well by our waiter, Fabio. The ambience is classy and not overstated and the general atmosphere is very welcoming. What is there not to like? This is certainly one of the best restaurants in the area and I look forward to returning soon.
