Love Copper Canyon & ordered my favorite entree - the ribs! Always tender, delicious & and generous portion. But tonight the ribs were dry. Because I’ve enjoyed them before, I knew what to expect & tonight’s ribs were a disappointment.

Two days across two continents and a long flight home, can leave you in a bad mental place. Copper Cannon Grill was my ‘Welcome Home”. I selected this restaurant because it was close to family I wanted to host. . Enjoyed everything about our lunch. We had lunch on the outdoor terrace which is near the street. The only thing we could hear was live jazz playing somewhere in the neighborhood. Too good to believe!! I am a southern girl. The fried green tomatoes as the starter was very good and the catfish as the entree was off the scale. My guest enjoyed a delicious burger, Mac and Cheese with bacon and a lovely pasta. We feasted across the delicious dishes. I was the driver, so needless to say, I could not enjoy the cocktails and wines on the menu. The service was excellent throughout our lunch and I look forward to going back..

10 minutes for my Flowery Peach cocktail but it tasted good. Auntie ordered the crab cake sandwich and said she wouldn't order it again. Mom had a salad and requested a green dressing that never came. I had the fried catfish and chips and didn't see the old bay seasoning on the fries. It was a birthday reservation and I guess they don't do anything for that. I work in hospitality and was unimpressed. Food runner didn't have the proper seat numbers. Too many workers at the host station for the entrance to have fingerprints on the glass. I would come there again for the ambience.

Copper Canyon Grill was a nice time. I enjoyed the servers that helped us. The ambiance was soothing. I do wish that the menu was more robust, but it works. The food we ordered was quite satisfying.

I've always had a great dining experience at Copper Canyon Grill in Silver Spring. This was the first time visiting since the pandemic and the reopening after the fire. I used to frequent a lot for business lunches and diners before retiring in 2021. I frequent sister restaurants Stanford Grill (Columbia, Md) and Stanford Kitchen (Owings Mills, Md). I'm a proud Woodfire Club member. The waiters and waitress' were very attentive as always. The restaurant has great service. I met a long-time friend at the restaurant for lunch after he moved back to the area. We agreed to meet at a restaurant half-way between Arlington, Va and Ellicott City, Md which happened to be close to where we formerly worked on Colesville Rd. I ordered my favor seared ahi tuna salad. However, it no longer comes with the cornbread like it used to, so I order a slice at $2 which was worth it. My friend order the salad with grilled shrimp. We also order the tortilla soup which was very good. I will definitely return to Copper Canyon when I'm in the area. Keep up the great service.
