Went to the Madonna Inn Copper Cafe for the first time , I was happy to have the option to order from the Steakhouse menu (dinner hours only ) which I did- the French Filet was fantastic! I will say it’s very spendy place but worth the experience if you’ve never been. I was sad that there were NO GF options for bread or desserts .

Food average, prices little high, selection for breakfast menu average, service decent but order was incorrect. Too many flies hovering around table, not good, especially in an eatery. Better pest control needed.

We did have to wait some time for our reservation, which was understandable as we had a large group. The quality of the entrees was good as was the service. Unfortunately I was a little disappointed with my cake, which is the main reason we have lunch here. I got the banana nut as I always do, but it just wasn’t as flavorful or moist as it used to be.

I don’t recommend this restaurant for families. It’s way overpriced. The decorations are stuck in another century. It’s goudy. The gift shops are ridiculous overpriced. The staff was aloof. The food was ok, but I ordinary.

We had reservations for 9:30 AM and had at wait a bit for the table. We didn’t mind too much since it was a holiday weekend. The main issue was the quality of the food. Our scrambled eggs tasted as if they were mixed with a gluten-free batter and the bacon was flavorless. Our table was by a window which attracted many flies that we had to keep waving away. The restaurant was full and very noisy but that’s to be expected on a holiday. I would come again on a non-holiday simply because of the ambiance and nostalgia but would instead try lunch or dinner.

Madonna Inn is iconic but we were really bummed that they no longer serve breakfast in the pink room …the area where they serve is nowhere near as fun/interesting and makes it harder to justify the cost for breakfast.

Excellent service and great lunch. Our waiter gave great recommendations and super service. I had the Hass Avocado Salad with tuna and a side fruit salad. The rolls and butter were so good they were like dessert. The cafe is beautiful with copper accents and the bakery inside smells wonderful. We had a comfortable booth. Very classy. Highly recommend making a reservation to be safe.

This place is awesome from a decor perspective - very eclectic! The food and service however is overrated and overpriced. We came here for a quick breakfast and for the experience, which it delivered, but it could have been a much better experience overall!
