My friend and I were seated for 15 minutes, without anyone even acknowledging us, before I had asked someone for our server. The manager walked by and apologized and said somebody would be with us shortly. The server and her new trainee finally came by and said she didn’t know she had our table (yet she had all the surrounding tables?). My friend and I each ordered a wine sample. The server also asked us if we wanted waters; we said yes and also asked for bread. We also ordered our appetizer at that time. When they came back with the wine samples, we ordered our meal. After what seemed like an eternity, we see what we think to be our appetizer go to another table. A few minutes later, the manager brings it out, apologies for the delay and says it’s on the house. At this point, we’re ready to order our glasses of wine. The manager comped those for us, too. The entrees were good, and we asked for a box for leftovers. They brought us the boxes to put them in ourselves (usually the staff boxes up the leftovers). We ordered the special dessert (very good!). My friend had to ask twice for her water to be refilled. The service was just not great last night (or the past few times, for that matter). I appreciate that the manager recognized the problems and partially comped our bill. I’ll be back as I enjoy the food, but the service really needs to improve.

We are frequent diners at the Wheeling location and this is the first time we have had this poor quality of service. Not sure if it was because they were understaffed or what. Our server ( a girl) seemed to have an attitude. Was very slow in getting orders,etc. Was absent most of the night The girl who was in charge of water and clearing plates was almost non-existent. At the end of the night, our server failed to return the wine club card, failed to seal the bag in which my remaining wine was in (possible legal issues) and took forever to bring the bill. Food was excellent, but was embarrassing for me as we had brought friends here raving about the food and service. One good; one terrilble.

As always, the food and service were excellent. We dined outdoors at a quiet table, protected from the sun and the elements. A very lovely experience. Highly recommended!

I reserved an outdoor seating spot and confirmed with Cooper’s Hawk staff. When I arrived for my reservation I was told all outdoor seating was being used and they had no idea when it would be free. I felt like this defeated the purpose of having a reservation. My server Sydney was lovely and the food was fine. I feel disappointed from this experience so if you want to reserve a table just know you are not guaranteed to get it.

Our server, Amy, was terrific. She was relaxed, helpful and in top of everything. I’m going to ask for her next time I go there!

Great service and the food was very good. We were sat right by the kitchen, which was a bit noisy -hearing the staff arguing over orders that weren't ready and who needs to grab what. It detracted a little - but I guess someone has to sit next to the kitchen. OVerall, it was a positive experience.
