Hostess was indifferent not friendly. Waiter was inexperienced. Didn’t know you could do a small salad and add a protein. Didn’t know anything about wine.

We had an awesome experience. The server Jade was phenomenal. She is young, but very professional, knowledgeable about the menu, friendly and very attentive to our needs. The food didn’t disappoint either.

I was so excited to try the new brunch options but unfortunately the kitchen needs more training on cooking eggs. I ordered the eggs over medium…but the yolks were completely cooked. Sent back for a redo and same result. They were more interested in presentation than proper doneness. Our waiter Austin was great however!

First, I will say that we’ve been CH members for more than 5 years, The overall experience and quality has gradually been getting worse and worse, to the point it’s now and the ONLY benefit is the wine. Last night, our table reservation was late more than 20 minutes which made zero sense due to the lack of people actually IN the dining room and most likely due to understaffing. Normally not a big deal, but there were not enough servers doing tastings also to the where we had to ask a manager for our 3&4th glasses. When we eventually sat down in the dining room, the lack of service (servers) continued. 4 apps ordered; all came out at random times, meal came out much much later, and not at the same time, 1 of our entrees was wrong. Coopers Hawk service has gone downhill for years and now we’re considering discontinuing our membership. Food: meh, ambiance: meh, overall value: meh. There’s plenty of other restaurants in St. Louis that still value their loyal customers, CH unfortunately, is no longer, one of them. My point is this: don’t have enough staff? Understandable, however, shouldn’t we prioritize those who actually make a reservation? Still don’t have enough? Don’t accept the reservation. Cramming people in just to get them in is of little value if the quality of service cannot be sustained.

Things are certainly different at Coopers Hawk. We are used to exceptional service and great food. The meal was delicious, but our waitress was slammed with tables and barely had time to take care of us. She was never rude, but she was never friendly or even attentive to our needs all night. Like I said, just not what we are used to with Coopers Hawk.

Our experience began with the restaurant seating us 20 minutes late for our reserved table. From there we experienced disorganized food delivery and that did not match our order. Overall, the service was friendly but the food was unremarkable and there are many better options with more refined tastes at a better value.
