Service was not great and food was mediocre. Never replaced our plates for bread after appetizers and then forgot multiple peoples soup and salad before their meal and never even apologized. Had to ask for refills on water.

The experience at Cooper’s Hawk has gone down hill over the years. Had a reservation and getting seated was late, drinks took forever, appetizer’s were late coming out. Server did not keep drinks and bread refilled. Food was off. I try to tell myself it will be better each time and to try it again and each time I ask myself why I go back.

Great overall experience. Ally our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. For dessert we asked for the “sweet wine and chocolate” pairing but did not want the fruit wines. We asked for the sweet reds instead. She advised that she was not sure they would do that. Less than 1 mi Ute later the manager (Harry) was at our table clarifying what we wanted. He restated that they usually don’t do the substitution but he would make it happen. He did, and everything was delicious. Excellent customer service by manger and server. Corporate should consider either changing the menu name to “fruit wine and chocolate” or allow customers to choose from the reds that are specifically listed as “sweet reds” - same price as fruit wines by the way. It is confusing for customers and places staff is an awkward position. Thanks again to Ally and Harry!

We went for a table of six for friends visiting from Brazil. One of our guests owns two restaurants. Tasting between6:30 and 7:00 pm was good. A full house. I would have preferred a different table for dinner, one with less walk by traffic. The house was full of celebrations; birthdays, anniversaries, and was super loud. Too loud for the conversation we hoped for. Service was slow. Appetizers were orders; only one was served. Bread was served, but with only one bread knife for the table. We had only forks and napkins. Our chosen was was the Granacha tasted in the tasting room. We were advised that this was only offered to Wine Club members. Entrees were all good and the second appetizer was served just before the meal, along with knives for the table after our request. This was not the elegant meal which we may have enjoyed on a Wednesday or Thursday. I won’t go back on a Friday. Desert was shared by us all. The meal took from 6:40 to 10:30 including 30 minutes to settle the bill. I was using gift cards and this took forever. We learned that, in addition to the $35 charge for the Cabernet, they charge a $10 corkage fee to open and decant their own wines: not disclosed when ordered. They waive this if you join the Wine Club. Signing up took ten minutes. Frankly, I should have chosen Capital Grill, 801 Chophouse or Napoli. We enjoyed it, but it could have been much better for $275 with the lowest cost entrees and two of our guests sharing an entree. Around 10:00 pm, they started sweeping the floors and stacking chairs near diners; something which takes away from an experience.

We enjoy eating at Cooper's Hawk and belong to the wine club. Unfortunately, almost every time we try to have an early dinner @ 4:30, we have trouble being able to be seated in a booth by the window...even though there are open booths! We're consistently told that there isn't a server assigned to that area, although an open booth may be one booth away from ones they are serving. This has happened multiple times, so it is a distinct pattern. Is there a way to better serve people who come in for your happy hour or early dinner by having enough service staff?
