Every since my cousin introduced me to Cooper’s Hawk back in August of 2022 I’ve been in love with it every since I want ALL my friends and family to experience this restaurant I can’t get enough of Cooper’s Hawk.

Although our server was polite and kind, service was slow. There seemed to have been plenty of staff, perhaps management was not on the 'A' game.

Janie was our waitress and was amazing! Very friendly, attentive, and followed up in a timely manner, my friend ordered something she didn't like and Janie without hesitation offered her something else. Honestly this was the best customer service experience I've received from there in the past 3 years. We ate outside, which was pleasant and a good variety of music was playing. Only thing is the music is a bit too loud, so have to talk loud to hear one another. Overall enjoyable evening

The service at Cooper's Hawk is consistently very good. However, this weekend was a little different. Labor Day Weekend? I don't know.

I rarely write reviews. Most of the time understand when a restaurant is understaffed or overbooked. But this was beyond ridiculous. Reservation at 6:00pm. Server didn’t know the wine listing and stated that “ she heard the wine was sourced from Illinois” ? Waited 2 hours for dinner entrees to be served. 2 broken Champaign glasses via the sever, and oh,did I mention that I had to open the bottle of bubbly MYSELF as is was dropped off by our server who then disappeared for :15? Went to the hostess stand and asked for a manager who never came to address my concerns. As a new Richmond resident, I will NEVER frequent this restaurant again. And will tell all of the people I work with (at a major employer in the area) to NOT go there!

Food excellent. Restaurant was crowded, but service was very good until meal end. It took longer than usual to receive and settle the bill. Noise was to excessive. Especially from the adjacent table of 6 young women who drank too much, and were very boisterous and annoying.

Must have been in off night for the restaurant. Our worst experience at Cooperhawk ever. We had a reservation for 5pm, did not get seated until 5:30pm. Extremely loud dining area. Could not hear ourselves talking at our table because of a very loud and rowdy group at a table across the restaurant from us. We were served the wrong wine. Wondered if there had been a management change being that it was a much different experience that what we are used to. Very loud music playing, which meant everyone was trying to talk over it. It felt very chaotic and was not a relaxing dinner in any way.

I typically go to the CH restaurants in Ashburn and Reston, but I ended up in the Richmond area, so I chose this one in Short Pump for the first time. It was disappointing from start to finish. Had a reservation but still had to wait for over 20 min for our table. Seated and the server took some time getting to us. Gave her our drink and appetizer order, and she took so long getting them to us, we thought she forgot us. Then, she came back to the table and informed us that the Chef's Recomendation appetizer, was all out. The menu just started this weekend and they are already sold out?! Then our server kept forgetting the lemon for our water. She finally brought them. My date loved the Rhubarb Wine and ordered a 2nd while we waited. She later came back multiple times, all with no wine. Finally, he asked her, and she said they are sold out of the Rhubarb wine he liked. In the meantime, our meals were delivered. My skirt steak was delivered and was over-cooked, by a significant amount. I told the server that since they were late getting the food to us, to please just leave it at the table, and I would eat it. It was definitely dry and flavorless. We agreed that we would not come back to this restaurant after the super slow service, lack of food options due to being out of food and subpar quality of some of the food we did receive. We spent over $100 and expected so much more, as that is our experience consistently in NOVA. I sincerely hope this improves in Short Pump.
