Unfortunately the filet was over cooked. The dessert (truffles) for the birthday boy was frozen and unable to be eaten. Otherwise it was good.

Our server was Lex, she was attentive, knowledgeable about the food and wines. She was amazing, an absolute delight. She made our visit very memorable!

On this visit, the appetizer came out before the drinks. The two glasses of wine came out, but it was another 5 or so minutes for the beers. We had to call the waiter over to place the rest of our order and inquire about the beers, who said, "Didn't the person who brought the wine tell you the tap was being replaced?" NO. I requested no avacado smash on my sandwich and it came with it. Also a salad was brought out with my sandwich instead of fries, I think because I asked for a side of ranch for the fries. That was quickly corrected. We've had much better service in the past.

I don’t usually write reviews but feel I must after this experience to see if someone will actually read this from Cooper’s Hawk as I truly do enjoy this restaurant…but not this time. First of all the positives…Our server was wonderful and accommodating. We started out with the Classic Tomato Bruschetta which was fresh and tasty as always. Unfortunately, both of our main courses were mediocre at best. This is a such a disappointment as it usually is such a delicious and delightful experience. My husband ordered the Napa Chicken Chopped Salad for dinner…and it was served by the food runner (not our server) to him without the main component…chicken. When our server stopped by to check on us…she was apologetic and to her credit ran to the kitchen to get some chicken for the salad. The chicken was bland and unappetizing but my husband went ahead and ate it anyway. After this debacle, I didn’t even want to say anything about my entree which was the Chef’s Recommendation (Chicken Francese). It was so salty it made me only eat a small portion of it and box the rest to take home to my dogs. I truly do expect a lot better spending $100 ( meal+tip) which did not include dessert nor cocktails/wine…such a disappointment.

Food is very over priced and the fact that they call themselves a scratch kitchen is a joke. I think I could’ve gotten better food at 7-11. Decent drinks, but bad service and highly overpriced for quality.
