The food and service are always outstanding! Cloe our server was amazing! Can’t wait to go again so we can ask for her specifically. Linda and Lucas at the tasting room are top notch. This is by far my favorite Cooper’s Hawk location. Thank you.

Sunday was the worse experience we ever had at Cooper’s Hawk. Our server was terrible. Almost non existent. After she finally took our orders, she never took our menus away. I put them on the floor to get them off the table. After our soup and salads, she never took our empty plates and bowls away when our meals were served, so we got up and put the dirty dishes on the empty table next to us. We were a party of five. Three of our five meals were very disappointing. I had the spaghetti w/homemade meatballs. Nowhere on the menu does it say it is spicy. I think the chef dumped a half bottle of crushed red peppers in the sauce (or some other hot seasoning). I was choking on my first bite. I took it home and I’ll add a jar of pasta sauce to make it edible. The reason I didn’t send it back is because our service was so slow and poor that I didn’t want to wait another hour for a replacement meal. One had the grouper meal and the portion was extremely small. About a child size portion. A third person had the filet and said the steak was very tough and barely room temperature. There was only two good meals. The chicken dish and the braised short ribs. The waitress never came around to ask how everything was or if we needed anything else. We were never asked if we wanted any coffee or dessert, she just brought our check after our meal. This is a very unusual experience for Cooper’s Hawk. I sure hope it’s not going to be how the service will be in the future. It was my step son’s birthday and we wanted him to have a good meal since we told him how excellent this place was. Well that didn’t happen. When we left, after 2-1/2 hours, my husband talked to the manager and expressed his disappointment in the service and suggested that the server be retrained, obviously she doesn’t know how to be a good server. The manager was very apologetic for our experience and said he would address the matter. Unfortunately my husband didn’t address the problems with the meals.

The bathrooms needed attending. The table had dirty napkins. The chairs were dirty with food when we sat down. The place needed a little TLC

The food was outstanding! The noise level was well beyond "energetic". So loud that we were unable to hear the host as she pointed out a table for us in the main room. As we stood by the table, I yelled, "What? I can't hear you!" I have normal hearing ability. We went back to the lobby to be reseated. We were reseated in a booth which made conversation easier. I f we cannot be assured a table in the Barrel Room, we will not be back. A shame because the food was truly special.
