The Cooperage Inn takes great pride in serving the freshest fish, meats and local produce available. Sauces are expertly prepared on premise by our chefs.

The name "Cooperage Inn" comes from the craft of coopering, which goes back a few centuries, when it was the major method of packaging. We are located in the Long Island Wine region. Wine makers have always relied on the skills of the Village Cooper to store and age their wines.

We have been numerous times. It’s such a cozy restaurant! The drinks are great and the food is delicious! Our server Dina was amazing ! Unfortunately we were too full for dessert. Looking forward to going back!

Great place to dine with friends & family. Quite cozy. Our server Allison was friendly & helpful The hostess's Not so much. They were quite cranky 🫤

Hi Valerie! Thanks for taking the time to let us know about your experience. I'm sorry that you found the hostesses to be cranky. When you make a reservation for four people and show up with six, sometimes it can be frustrating, as it's a completely different size table. In the future, please make your reservation for the correct number of people, and if you are using open table to do so, there's a reason you couldn't book for six people, we were at capacity all night long! I'm glad we were able to fit you in, considering you made the reservation that morning, but a phone call could have prevented any hiccups upon your arrival. ~

Excellent food, service & atmosphere. 5 stars - until the party of 18 people arrived and stood around socializing in the dining room for over 20 minutes. Standing around all the other table that were trying to enjoy their meal. People- this is not your home! Sit down and converse at the table like everyone else! Thankfully our waitress Kelly guided them to their seats.

Went especially because of Restaurant Week. Food was delicious as always however, I order the baked clams appetizer every time I visit (the best!!) and there are always 4 clams but today there were 2. So while $39 is definitely a bargain for a 3-course meal, if the portions are smaller then it’s not such a ‘bargain’. Even so, food was fresh and martini ice cold…would have just liked to feel I got ‘a deal’. Oh well.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience. I am slightly confused, as you state "$39 is definitely a bargain for a 3-course meal" and then proceed to state "then it's not such a 'bargain'". Either it is, or it isn't. Restaurant week is designed to offer a personal sampling for people to try different things. You are correct that a "regular" order of Baked Clams has 4 clams, as our regular menu appetizers are meant to share. If you needed two more baked clams to complete your dining experience, you could have ordered from the regular menu.

Such a lovely and welcoming environment! Me and my toddler son had a nice brunch and our waitress Kimberly was just the sweetest, kindest! The food and mimosa was top notch! Will definitely be back and bringing others.

Cooperidge Inn is our favorite restaurant. We know we will always get an excellent meal and good service. The restaurant is clean. Menu options have a core group, but they do introduce new items pretty regularly if you want to try something new. We try to have a different item each visit, and we know we will never be disappointed.
