The name "Cooperage Inn" comes from the craft of coopering, which goes back a few centuries, when it was the major method of packaging. We are located in the Long Island Wine region. Wine makers have always relied on the skills of the Village Cooper to store and age their wines.

Once we were seated we waited a long time for a waiter. Our drinks came after our calamari which was very gummy and over cooked. Our drinks were not the ones we ordered. When someone from their management team came over they argued with my husband when he said his beer was not the one he ordered. When our food came my beef stroganoff was burnt and my husbands meal was bland and not well cooked. This restaurant is outdated just like their food . We will not be dining there again!

Joanne our server was attentive and friendly! Our specialty drinks were potent and delicious. We had the Cooperage salad..it was a warm day..so it was refreshing, We sat outside..shady with a perfect breeze, Only noise was from the road traffic on the other side of the lovely garden surrounding us.

We arrived about 30 minutes early so we sat in the bar and enjoyed a relaxing drink before meeting another couple for dinner. The bar tender was very friendly and made a mudslide with ice cream for my wife. She was pleasantly surprised. The wait staff is very friendly and our dinners were fabulous. We even bought a frozen chicken pot pie to take home.

Excellent experience. Wonderful service, "off the hook" appetizers and entrees. The only regret was having to swear off dessert because we were so full. We WILL be back!!

Cooperage Inn never disappoints. The food is always delicious. The waitresses are always so friendly. Services excellent.

I have been to the Cooperidge a dozen times… the food is delicious and served to perfection . My waitress was Liz and she was efficient and easily answered any questions. Perfect, lovely experience all around . I had some food to wrap also.. the busboy wrapped it very neatly.

The food is really good, especially the chicken pot pie which is better than you’ll find anywhere else. My only suggestion would be to expand their wine list, as the current list is small, focusing on lesser wines.

Cute place, very friendly nice and welcoming. Highly attentive service. It’s a big, varied menu. Prices are not bashful. Portion sizes are large. Food on the heartier side. If you’re looking for decent food with a big doggie bag to take home, this is your spot.
