The Cooperage Inn takes great pride in serving the freshest fish, meats and local produce available. Sauces are expertly prepared on premise by our chefs.

The name "Cooperage Inn" comes from the craft of coopering, which goes back a few centuries, when it was the major method of packaging. We are located in the Long Island Wine region. Wine makers have always relied on the skills of the Village Cooper to store and age their wines.

Went last night for dinner with my husband. Atmosphere was very comfortable, waitress was very friendly and efficient. Food was great, we ordered the bread basket. It was plentiful and nice. Baked stuffed clams were big and flavorful. Crab cakes and steak were both really good. Carrot cake was excellent Portions are big for the price. Overall great dinner we’ll be back to try more dishes.

Rack of Lamb was cooked just right & delicious. Our party of 9 all had great meals & the service by Joyce our waitress was excellent

As usual food was outstanding but unfortunately service was poor. Waiter was not very attentive and food took quite a while to come out but it was outstanding. A person at our table ordered a bloody mary and after waiting for quite some time, we had to get the waiter's attention to remind him that we hadn't gotten the drink yet. Waiter seemed either over worked or completely disinterested. When we were here last year (this is a tradition for us) the service was outstanding. We will come again on this date next year and I hope this particular waiter will up his game.

My wife and I love Cooperage Inn Restaurant! We were celebrating our 47th Wedding Anniversary last night and it was spectacular. We were seated at a great table overlooking the fireplace. Romantic and warm setting. Food has never disappointed in the past, and last night was no different. Our waitress was wonderful, served us at a nice easy pace so we could relax and enjoy our time together. I can’t say enough about this place! It is a “must do” for anyone living in or coming to the area.
