Located on 14 East 47th Street (between Madison & 5th), Connolly's Pub & Restaurant is a family owned and operated traditional Irish pub conveniently located in the heart of midtown and minutes away from Grand Central Station & The Rockefeller Center. Connolly's Pub & Restaurant has come to be known as NYC's premier venue for great food in a traditional Irish atmosphere. With 50 different beers to choose from, we offer a unique environment for happy hour, business functions, family gatherings and alumni reunions. I’ve had the fish and chips before but it was just not as good. The breading was chewy and hard to cut in places. For the price, I expected it to taste better. Server was hard to find. I booked through OpenTable, and the price on the online menu said the fish & chips were $18. However, when I arrived, the restaurant menu said $22. I ordered a Diet Coke which was in a glass with so much ice, so I ordered a second one and was stunned to see I was charged $8 for those two sodas. I was disappointed.

Very enjoyable evening before our Broadway show, we were not rushed. Food was quite good, glad we made this selction

I was meeting up with a friend of almost 30 years and a new friend of his. It was not my first time at the restaurant, but it was for them, and they liked the food, the ambience and the service. Thank you, Connolly's for not letting me down.

Very dark in the back dining room. And the bathroom wasn’t so clean. Only complaint! Food was delicious!

Our server was clearly not engaged. Guess he was having a bad day . We ordered 2 appetizers and he brought one. Our beverage order was also not correct. Not the usual attentiveness we have had in past visits. Despite this, we will be back -

Connolly's is always a great place to gather with friends. The food is excellent at a moderate price. They have the best Fish & Chips - get it - you'll love it.

I needed to call the waitress over each time I needed something. She never on my table. I even had to call her over for the check.
