Le Columbia est le plus ancien restaurant de Floride, fondé dans l'historique quartier d'Ybor City à Tampa en 1905. Géré et exploité par la même famille depuis plus de 111 ans, il a acquis une solide réputation pour son charme d'antan ainsi que sa cuisine espagnole/cubaine et sa carte de vins primée.     We chose to take friends who had never been there for dinner because it was always an exceptional experience and very delicious food. We had a reservation and got right in on time at 6:00. We were disappointed at how long it took to get everything, waited probably 20 or more minutes to just get bread and drinks! Our waiter was very friendly, but was either stretched too thin with tables or kept forgetting things for us. My husbands glass of water had lipstick stuck to the rim (no biggie) but had to ask about 4 times for a new glass! The Spanish bean soup is his favorite so we recommended it to our friends and the beans were kinda hard,not cooked long enough. When we finally got our main dish, two of them were cold, the yellow rice was kinda cold and hard, and one was just “warm”. We returned two and they brought out a new entree fairly quick but was kinda dried out. We apologized to our friends and said , this was usually a very top notch place! I am so surprised at the level of quality for such a great place. We usually have a very nice experience with great food. We will definitely try it again, but I hope they are not going downhill like so many places do. When you spend a lot of money, and are disappointed in the experience, it is frustrating!

    We had family visiting from out of town and decided to show them the gem that is the Columbia. They loved it. The food was great, the decor is stunning, and our server Corrie was awesome. We were her first table as a server and she did a great job!

    Their signature salad is worth the trip! The restaurant and all their various dining rooms are spectacular!

    It took about 15 minutes for Chris S. to make it to our table. Once he did, he poured/mixed the tableside white sangria that we ordered with an assistant of his, and then disappeared for another 10 minutes before he made it back to take our order. Luckily, I have been there before, so I was able to make some suggestions regarding the menu because he gave no recommendations, no menu tour, just straight to taking orders. I absolutely love the Columbia and have been going since I was a child. I raved about it to my three guests (two from out of town) who had never been. The food and ambiance always live up to the billing, but it was just a bit disappointing that our service was a bit underwhelming.

    Great experience, food was fantastic, seevice was great even for being so busy. For a large table of people, it was hard to hear anyone across the table. Really interesting and eclectic decor, and loved the ambiance and live music. Would definitely return.

    We had 5 in attendance. This was my first time dining there. The food and service was very good. It was unfortunately very noisy and we couldn't hear anyone in our party to have any type of conversation without almost yelling. That was the only minus. Otherwise it was enjoyable.
