Le Columbia est le plus ancien restaurant de Floride, fondé dans l'historique quartier d'Ybor City à Tampa en 1905. Géré et exploité par la même famille depuis plus de 111 ans, il a acquis une solide réputation pour son charme d'antan ainsi que sa cuisine espagnole/cubaine et sa carte de vins primée.     The Columbia did not disappoint. We had a lovely evening, and our server, Mark, was outstanding. He gave us a brief but informative history of the restaurant and made sure we had plenty of time to explore the menu, all while delivering our cocktails & Champinones Rellenos (stuffed mushrooms) tapas in record time. His dinner recommendations were spot on. A must-try is the 1905 Salad—watch as it's prepared tableside for a small show that adds a personal touch to the experience. For the main course, I highly recommend the Pompano en Papillot (Mark’s suggestion). It was full of flavor, and the parchment paper was opened right before serving, adding to the excitement. My husband absolutely loved the Ropa Vieja. To finish the night on a sweet note, we enjoyed an Espresso Martini and Spanish Coffee, paired with some delightful Churros "Tres Amigos." With swift service, great atmosphere, and delicious food, this was an evening to remember!

    I've been to Columbia on numerous occasions. I've never one time even needed to complain about anything. I show up with friends it's perfect. I show up with family it's perfect. I showed up with a three year old once and it was perfect. Doesn't matter the situation these people are on it. Highly recommend.

    Overall, excellent! Wonderful location, ambience, food with very good service. Nice food selection on the menu- love the Spanish-Cuban-Tampa/Ybor City influence of the entire experience. I had the Lechon Asado 1905- which was excellent! The pork, black beans, rice and plantains were all delicious and on-point! Ample free parking in two separate lots across the street from the restaurant, too. Wonderful Tampa/Ybor City experience and nice to have this beautiful, historic restaurant in our home town! Well Done Columbia!!

    Phil from Boston was our server. I think probably the BEST service we have ever had. He should do all your training of new employees. I have a gluten issue and he knew exactly what I had and bent over backwards to make sure I had an amazing evening. He was warm, kind and amazing.
