Exploité et géré au sein de la même famille depuis plus de 110 ans, le Columbia Restaurant est plébiscité pour son charme d'antan et sa cuisine espagnole/cubaine reconnue. Les tenues décontractées sont acceptées, mais nous n'autorisons pas les chemises sans manches sur les hommes. Venez déguster nos recettes familiales centenaires comme la paella à la Valenciana, le filet Mignon Columbia et des spécialités de fruits de mer frais. Goûtez à la salade d'origine du Columbia 1905 Salad®, préparée avec un délicieux assaisonnement frais, une recette centenaire à base d'ail, d'origan, de vinaigre de vin et d'huile d'olive extra vierge espagnole. Ne manquez pas de déguster un bon vin espagnol comme le Montecillo ou le Campillo.     Columbia Sarasota is a must visit restaurant. What a great setting with wonderful food. We have been to Columbia's in Tampa and St. Pete - and they are all wonderful. We would welcome you in New England!

    We had a wonderful time. Our server, Michael, was the best. The food was wonderful and so was the atmosphere.

    Flies everywhere!! We were seated and no one came to us after multiple tables were seated after us including big groups. They were already being served and we unfortunately weren’t so decide to leave at this point.

    on this visit they did not live up to expectations. We frequent hear quite a bit, but tonight, service was slow, 3 plates did not come out with the correct orders and the wine glasses were dirty. One still had lipstick on it.

    Lunch at Columbia Restaurant has become one of our family's favorite traditions when visiting the Sarasota area. The food is always fabulous and the service is excellent. And the 1905 salad is not to be missed!

    We had a salad in 1905 and grouper meals, and for dessert, white chocolate bread pudding with a hint of rum. The meals were delicious. Service is very professional. Bustling place you definitely want to make a 2reservation ahead of time, our reservation was for 8:15 pm and we still waited for an additional 10-15 min.

    Way too loud and frantic - not what we had in mind for a romantic meal. We had a reservation and waited about 20 minutes for indoor seating, and there is no good place to wait where you aren’t in the way of servers carrying trays or other guests. When we were finally seated at our table inside, we realized they had seated us on the lefthand side of the restaurant, but they had opened the enclosure so that this side of the restaurant was entirely open to the outdoors and the humid Florida air. It was miserably hot inside because of this. What was the point of requesting indoor seating (and, more importantly, air conditioning) if we were just going to be sweating in the heat as much as we would outside on the patio? Service was slow even though our server was nice, and our drinks came a while after our entrees. We felt rushed to eat and gulp down our wine since it was so darn busy and they clearly wanted the table back. The tables were cramped so closely together and it was so loud that we could barely hold a conversation. We were going to have dessert, but we decided against it as we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Definitely won’t be returning anytime soon, as delicious as the food was.

    It was a bit busier than we like. Our waiter got our order wrong...did not seem to understand what we wanted...it was a strange experience...
