    Columbia sand key is a must dine restaurant every time we visit the Bay Area. Don’t you dare pass on the white sangria. :). Enjoy.

    We booked a reservation to celebrate our anniversary. The hostess was not warm or welcoming. After we were seated, no one came to our table and after several minutes, my husband got up and told a guy at the host stand, who said he would tell his Manager. My husband came back to the table, we waited a bit more and still no one came, so we walked out and will never go back.

    We arrived at 12:45 pm, without a reservation, and were taken to be seated at the bar. We asked if we could be seated in the main dining hall and the hostesses had an attitude stating that the manager said we couldn’t sit there without a reservation. I opened up my OpenTable app and made a reservation for 1:00 pm. The hostesses got a bigger attitude and made a point to state to everyone they needed a reservation as we sat waiting for the 15 minutes to pass(even though we could see several empty tables). Food was good. Server (Christopher)was quick and attentive. I would recommend more training on customer service for those that are expected to greet customers (hostesses) and be welcoming-as none of them were. As a tourist we won’t have the opportunity to give you a second chance and this will be our impression of you to share with others. Unfortunately, we had a plane to catch and were on a time crunch or we would’ve gone somewhere else.

    The Columbia restaurant, regardless of the location, is a MUST dine. We LOVE the SandKey location, after a morning on the beach, its perfect for lunch. Food is really excellent, and service is generally wonderful. Their Sangria (especially CAVA) is excellent! Their small plates are so fun to share, food has amazing flavors. The HOT fresh Cuban bread they bring you is to die for with their sweet cream butter. And YES, a Salad CAN be amazing, just TRY the 1905 salad, it's incredible. Don't be afraid to try NEW items you've never had there, they are ALL amazing. It really is one of my favorite restaurants. NOT too fancy, but lovely, and prices are not stupid high like so many restaurants out there. And the food is always excellent.

    The server acted like she didn’t want to be there and was a bother for us to ask for anything. Our drinking took forever and each timed blamed it on the bar or issue with anything else like the food blamed it on the kitchen. We have gone to other Columbia’s but this was not a good experience and would never come back

    The Columbia never disappoints regardless of location. Great views, awesome atmosphere, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent (IZZZY was the best). If this is your first time to the area you have to give them a try.

    Service and Food was Impeccable! Server Stephan is a gem! Always a favorite during my visits to Clearwater.

    These guys know how to surprise. This is the worst place l've visited in the last 5 years. The calamari has an old oil smell; it's soft and brown, as if it hasn't been changed in a couple of days. The artichokes are impossible to eat. The steak is okay, but it's sad to leave angry and hungry after dinner.
