    Great service, good food, and lovely porch seating overlooking the bay. Only negative is the parking. Must do valet parking for $6 as there is very limited self parking availability.

    We have been to many Columbia many times, first time at this location. The food was amazing as usual. However we were cramped together on a small table with a party of 8 where there waiter literally couldn’t get to some of us. The noise was so loud it was hard to hear our party, not our favorite location or experience but I will say the food was wonderful as usual

    Good food. We both had seafood. Mahi and Salmon. I fully recommend getting a Sangria pitcher. Fantastic view of the Bay. My only beef with this place is the parking. The valet guys hustle, but there is just not enough parking for this restaurant on a busy night.

    I live a walk away from this restaurant and want so badly to like it. But I don’t. Lots of reasons. Some dishes (salads, tapas) are better than others, but the preparation is wildly inconsistent. Had crab-topped grouper on two occasions. First time it was great. Second time burned and tasteless. It’s the horrible service that gets me, though. Valet parking took forever at both ends. Table not ready as reserved and without asking we were shown to an outside table in 89 degree heat. No thanks. Waited some more for indoors. Worse yet is the way they rush you in and out. This has been the case every time I have eaten there. Maybe two thirds of the way through the salads, the mains appeared. Two of the four of us were working on the mains and the waiter started clearing the table! I stopped him and told him to relax. A short time later when three out of the four had finished and one diner was still working at it, he came back again and asked if we were interested in dessert. The restaurant is about turning tables, period. Not welcoming, gracious, convivial, delicious, just move ‘em in, move ‘em out Rawhide. Oh. And the noise. Really hard to have a conversation, so if you want to actually converse with your tablemates, go elsewhere. I will.

    It was not a good experience and certainly isn’t worth the high prices. Upon arrival, we were “greeted” by a very unfriendly hostess (Colleen) that would not look us in the eye when speaking to us. Though we arrived on time, we were not taken to our table until 30 minutes past our reservation time. No apologies were offered. In researching this restaurant, we noticed a dress code and were outfitted accordingly. Once we were seated, it was plain to see that those dress codes were not enforced. I have no problem with a casual dining atmosphere, but when I’m seated for a pricey dinner, I prefer not to have people in bathing suits walking through and seated in the dining room. The bread and butter were fantastic, so we were excited about what was to come. We started with the crab coquettes which were fine; they were better with the salsa than without. My husband and I each got the 1905 salad. Again, it was fine, but the table side presentation added nothing to it and really wasn’t necessary. (That might be attributed to our server’s lackluster efforts…he only had 3 tables, but was not attentive to any of them.). The sangria was meh and our pitcher had a leak, so our table quickly became a mess. The tablecloth (just a white paper overlay) was not changed out for us. My husband’s paella was flavorless, except for an over abundance of salt, and had chicken so dry it was inedible. My son enjoyed his Boliche Criollo, but my daughter’s Palomilla was so tough she had trouble chewing it. My Gambas Al Ajillo was very small and nothing special. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but the service and the food were not worth the time and expense…we couldn’t even bring ourselves to eat the leftovers. We were there to remember/honor my father on what would have been his 80th birthday…sangria and gambas al ajillo were two of his absolute favorites…this extremely disappointing experience didn’t have that effect.

    We had reservations for 6 but then a couple of people in our group wanted to go and they work to accommodate us. Fantastic. Food is great. The servers were outstanding.
