La Havane rencontre Madrid au Coco Palm, le beau restaurant en haut de la colline surplombant la vallée de San Gabriel. Commencez votre soirée avec un mojito ou une sangria dans le salon, puis profitez d'un souper en écoutant un concert dans le restaurant élégant, spécialisé dans la cuisine espagnole et cubaine traditionnelle. Ne manquez pas la paella valencienne ou le steak maison, une côtelette de 1,5 kg idéale à partager. Une variété de fruits de mer frais est disponible tous les jours, depuis le homard, les crevettes, au saumon frais dans une sauce au vin Albarino ou de la longe de loup de mer avec une sauce mangue-miso. Wednesday Nights: The Coco Palm features a live trio band playing lively Bolero music and songs by Sandra Valdivia every Wednesday night from 7pm-9pm in the Bolero Room. Thursday Nights: Saxophonist Nate Wilson plays smooth sets of contemporary and classic music in the main bar lounge, which can be heard in all the dining rooms. Friday Nights: Enjoy an evening dinner, then take some Salsa lessons in the nightclub (lessons from 8:30p-9:30p). Then join the world famous "Chino Espinoza y Los Dueños del Son", a 10 piece live salsa band. Nightclub closes at 1:00am. It's always a good idea to call the restaurant for certain blackout nights, especially in December.

Right off the bat the customer service was poor. Our waitress did not serve the food in a timely manner -each plate was brought out 10-15 minutes apart. I understand how taxing working in food service can be but her negligence and lack of service is unacceptable especially when customers are $300+ for their experience. The busboy was far more helpful than the waitress. He brought out the two final plates for our party once I told him how long we had waited. On to the food. Overrated, unauthentic, lacks flavor, and low quality for the price, I get that you’re paying for the view that consist of some sad and caged up Macaw birds, the “city lights,” and a koi pond, but everything else should be up to par. It was a rip off compared to other upscale restaurants with better views such as Javier’s, Boa, and Mastro’s have better quality food and customer service for less if not the same price. My advice to management and whoever had the bright idea of this restaurant is to be realistic, hire people that are competent, organize yourselves better, and prioritize customer service and the Cuban/Latino cuisine authenticity.

Service was very slow from ordering drinks to getting our food too over average time considering the place was not even full. We order the Parrillada Argentina waiter asked how we wanted our steak we order medium cooked, after almost 45 minutes finally arrives over cooked with no flavor what so ever. We could have returned it however after waiting that long imagine if we had to wait again. We just left it there no questions asked by the waiter. Second time we go there and twice the service has been horrible.

The food was absolutely delightful here. Came here with my girlfriend to celebrate our 1 year anniversary and she loved it, would definitely come again!

Beautiful upscale restaurant with an amazing view and delicious food! Took my girlfriend out to dinner for our Anniversary. She loved this place and the food and service was great! I highly recommend! This was my second time here, first for dinner. My first time here was for a banquet which was also a very positive experience...

Good food and large portions. Unless you are hungry or going to share, be prepared to bring food home. Overall great experience. Went at 4:30PM on a Saturday. Expect to be busy during lunch buffet or dinner.

Took a while to someone to just take our drink order, but once Eddie found us, he was very attentive. We were sat at a table with a view of Pomona, yeah not the best view, but at night it's nice. Especially when there's fireworks going off in P- town. The food was great, but the atmosphere was a bit noisy. Happen to have a couple of kids that were allowed to run around a scream the entire night. Valet was a joke. We stood there for 20 minutes before the female valet decided to end her conversation with some older man that was trying to hit on her finally acknowledged us. No tip and I deducted $2 from the $8 we owed. Even with the two negative views, we'd go back

Food was average. I found the ceviche not very freshly made. I tasted them using tilapia which is a cheaper white fish and pre-prepared or frozen. My sea bass was ok. But for the price I expected a better quality. The yucca mash was pretty heavy. Service was courteous. Place is always nice. My husband had the braised oxtail. He said it was kind of salty.

We visited Coco Palm to celebrate our anniversary, and we greatly enjoyed the experience. The restaurant is beautifully situated on a hillside with a fantastic view. The service was excellent, and the food was amazing. We started with the crudo de ahi tuna, served on three tostadas and generously loaded with fresh ingredients. We also had the croquetas de pollo and enjoyed the complimentary toasted bread with black beans. For our main course, we shared the Paella Valenciana, which was well-served with generous portions of crab, scallops, shrimp, chicken, sausage, clams, and various other ingredients. While we waited for a special occasion to visit, we'll now be adding Coco Palm to our regular rotation of favorite restaurants.

Everything was amazing from how fast we got seated to the amazing taste of the food. However the noise of the event going on next to us was a bit distracting overall great time

We went for our 10th anniversary and had a pretty underwhelming experience. There was only one table filled when we got there and service was super slow. I ordered the mariscos plate but sadly it so bland and not very tasty. That was so disappointing especially since I’ve been wanting to come and eat here for a long time. My husband had the beef vieja dish and loved his. The plantains were delicious. Other nice restaurants we’ve been to give us a little treat for special occasions like anniversary, but not this one. Nothing special whatsoever. Sadly I won’t be returning.
