We went in for a date night and had apps, 2 drinks and a meal all in 45 min - we felt rushed and the food started coming before the drinks - felt like they were trying to turn the table the whole meal.

We used to absolutely love it here, but this last time was just not up to par as usual. The Beef Burgundy was what always brought me back and it just missed the mark this time which is a shame with it being $27. It used to come in a sourdough bread bowl, now there’s just some bread stuffed into the stew itself, plus the veggies felt like they were dumped in from a frozen bag so they didn’t have much flavor. My husband got a burger which he enjoyed but it was supposed to be medium and came out well done. It was pretty empty in there when we dined so it was surprising to have our food not come out perfect as usual. Our server was very nice and attentive which was helpful. But it does seem that it’s going downhill over there sadly.

The prime rib was far below my expectations. It was served grilled and tough to chew. I expected the meat to be juicy and tender. Furthermore, the server never even asked how I would like the prime rib prepared. Very disappointed overall in the Friday night prime rib offering at the Cock n’ Bull.

We have heard a lot about this place but it did not live up to expectations. Cauliflower steak had no flavor and we are almost positive the crab cakes were frozen/not fresh made. Mashed potato’s were luckwarm. Best part of the meal was the orange marmalade on the chacueterie board.

Food was great. Have been eating at the cock and bull for over 30 years. I have never been disappointed.the flowers and the stores were fabulous. I am going again in another week.

Went to the Cock and Bull at 6:00, only one other party there. Greeted by server and ordered. They were out of the appetizer we wanted, so we ordered another. Waited 40 minutes for the appetizer and then brought the dinners two minutes later. Food was good and plentiful but did not get the chance to enjoy the appetizer. Service was good when server was in the dining room but that was rare because of the lack of customers. Noted the reservation that it was for a birthday but they did nothing to recognize. Also on the bill they listed a 3.99% cash discount of $4.83 and then listed a ADMIN FEE of 4.83 that offset it. We were charged the cash price but the bill is more confusing than it has to be. Also, highest credit card fee I have seen anywhere. We will not be back.
