Great service, delicious food all in a nice setting. Not a huge menu but something for everyone. Nice drink selection too.

Coast is the main restaurant at the Ritz Carlton. So is you dine early, there will probably be a good number of kids running around. However, if the weather allows, you can eat outside (covered) so that the noise isn’t as much of an issue. The food and service are both excellent. Blake is an amazing waiter!

We had the Christmas Day buffet at Coast. The choices in hot selections were limited, and the flavor of some items was bland. The cold (appetizer) selections were the best - green salad fixings, shrimp cocktail, flounder seviche, others. Dessert tastes were nice. There was live music throughout dinner. Overall, difficult to justify the price, but convenient with very limited options on the Island on Christmas.

The worst Christmas dinner . Paid $155 per person for Christmas buffet. It’s totally overpriced for limited selection and quality of the food . All entrees were ice cold . Only 2 waitresses per big room . Was very hard to reach our waitress . Been waiting for her almost 30 minutes to be able to order drinks . I asked her to get us new silverware twice , however , she never bring it to us. Very disappointing Christmas experience.

Have dined at the Ritz buffet many time at Thanksgiving and Christmas and did both this year. Over the years the quality of the experience has greatly diminished while the price has increased greatly. After a disappointing Thanksgiving experience we reluctantly went to the Christmas buffet. The selection and quality of the food was not what you would expect from the RC. The prime rib was good but it pretty much ends there. They had uneatable dry flavorless chicken, cold baked salmon which and a flavorless unrecognizable shrimp etoufee. The sides and salad bar available were okay but just okay. They provided a raw bar with shrimp cocktail and oysters on the half shell which were the smallest I had ever seen. And not small but juicy and plum. There was really nothing on substance in the oyster. We got three dink packages to as well. Our first round we ordered took 20 minutes to reach our table and including warm Champagne and their speacialty cocktails were not really that special. The ongoing drink service was really slow as well. Our main waiter tried as best he could to salvage the service issues but it was frustrating for him as well. At an average of well over $200.00 a head not including the 20% added gratuity, with the extra slow drink service, it was very disappointing and certainly not with the money. After nine days at the Ritz in Singapore this year the Ritz AI needs to decide if it is complacent to be being very mediocre hotel hiding under the Ritz name or start acting like the five star facility it is now just pretending to be,

Excited to join the Christmas Celebrations at Coast in 2024 (we did the same in 2023). Unfortunately it just wasn't good this year. The highlights were the sparkling service from Whitley, and the prime rib was good. I see some similar reviews and echo the same; the fish station was a mixed bag - oysters were plentiful but small, the ceviche was tasty. Salad was sparse and premixed full of nuts. Whilst the beef was great, it wasn't hot and the chicken wasn't being eaten quick enough, so was a little dry from being out with the mashed potatoes being overly oily. Sides were also cool. Dessert was excellent - could have done with some labeling for allergies, but the team helpfully explained each item. I think this was just an anomaly as Coast is usually superb. We were staying at the hotel and had dinner on Saturday night and it was superb. Whitley again was our server and outstanding in every respect. Beet Goes On cocktail - unique and so good Mayport Shrimp - huge, flavorful and plentiful servings (we had both the ceviche and the warm salad) Pork Chop - delicious and perfectly seasoned Pan Seared Redfish - hot and prepared just right Warm Peach Pie and Chocolate Gelato - mindblowing. We were full but could NOT resist. So overall a bad showing at the buffet this year, but incredible on an equally busy Saturday night.

$155 each for Xmas dinber with a vegetarian in our party. Only 3 things they could eat & it was average. Steak was cold, green beans not cooked. After $300 tab total, had to stop for food on the way home .. incredibly disappointing for a Christmas Day lunch.

Our experience at Coast for Christmas brunch was excellent from start to finish. We will definitely make this a future celebration destination.

I ordered Steak Frites. It was an unrecognizable piece of meat. Lots of grizzle and tasteless. Service was beyond slow. The staff was friendly the cost was outrageous .
