Clydz is a lively New Brunswick destination with a subterranean atmosphere, reminiscent of a 1920's speakeasy. At Clydz, the fare is anything but ordinary. The menu is comprised of small plates and entrees, ranging from a selection of steaks, scallops, duck, house made pastas and desserts.

The cuisine is not the only element that sets Clydz apart from the rest. The trendy bar, enhanced by fish tanks and fireplaces, offers adventurous martini and cocktail selections.

When making a reservation please keep in mind, tables will only be held 15 minutes past the reservation time.

***Please be advised-If you are dining with us pre-theater, please allow two hours minimum for your stay!

Cocktails were served promptly and tasted fantastic. Appys were delicious especially the alligator and oysters. Hanger steak and grilled cheese were stars. Waitress was outstanding.

Filet Mignon while cooked to order (medium rare) was very dry. Ordered entire off the “daily” special menu, to only find out it was “ yesterday’s special menu”. No current special menu was offered. Service was very slow. Drinks were okay, Manhattan glass never chilled.

Great service, really delicious well prepared food. It was a little chilly in the dining room, but it was awesome memorial day weekend so there were not that many patrons. Usually this restaurant is jumping. When it’s packed, the ambient temperature is probably higher and the chill would’ve been welcome. Hardly a big deal, and evening was otherwise well served and delicious. Definitely a place we go back to.

Overpriced cocktails - disappointed by quantity, flavor and presentation. The food (appetizers) was flat and uninspiring (burnt bread with whipped Ricotta - yes…. Burnt toasted bread!!!). Decided to skip the entree and was a good decision.

Truly a favorite! Love the cozy atmosphere! Drinks are excellent and the steak sandwich special is addictive!

This was our first time here. When we arrived there was only one other occupied table, however by the end of our meal the place was full. Delicious cocktails started our night. We got calamari and a whipped ricotta cheese dish for appetizers. These were delicious! For dinner we had the pork chop and the short rib. These were outstanding with very generous portion sizes. We finished our meal with a double espresso. Our server was pristine, lovely, knowledgeable and even offered to hold my leftovers until after a show that we were headed to after dinner. Clydzs can be romantic, celebratory or just a great meal out. We will DEFINITELY be back, and this is now one of favorite places in New Brunswick!
