Situé dans la très animée M Street, au coeur de Georgetown, le restaurant Clyde est ouvert tous les jours pour le dîner et le souper, ainsi que tard dans la soirée. La fin de semaine, on y sert le brunch. Ce salon populaire a été un lieu de rassemblement pour les habitants de Washington et les visiteurs de l'extérieur de la ville depuis 1963. Un menu américain de saison à prix modéré et un service amical et efficace dans une atmosphère confortable en font un endroit idéal pour se retrouver entre amis au bar autour d'une bière et d'un hamburger, ou s'asseoir pour un "crab cake" ou un filet mignon. Visitez un des deux bars pendant le happy hour du lundi au vendredi pour le menu "Afternoon Delight" qui offre des réductions de prix sur des entrées, des sandwichs et des salades. Il y a aussi un menu de fin de soirée offert tous les soirs.

Clyde’s is always my wife and I late night spot to go to. Food and drinks are always good.

The table was next to a large and noisy party. The waiter was good, but we had to constantly ask for more condiments. The floor around our booth was extremely dirty and so was the bottom cushion of our booth.

We have been coming to Clyde’s for almost 40 years. The food is always good but lately the service is wanting. If you want a really good entree try the Parmesan trout. I also tried the peach cobbler for dessert. It was really good.

I love this place. I was there several times, and will go again .Service was nice , though our table and the floor was dirty,somebody had dropped some sauce on the floor and the tablecloth was dirty too. They changed everything within minutes, what nobody saw was that the seat was dirty too, and I sat on it with a WHITE jeans. I had crab cake so no chance I did it myself. Red big tomato sauce ! On a white pant. I was really embarrassed to see the condition I was in when I went back home, since I went to a bar after having dinner stained in red sauce. I would recommend wearing dark clothes when you go to Clyde’s , otherwise put $150 on your bill, since you might have to throw out your clothes afterward . I am disappointed with cleaning standards. Really really good food, as long as as you do not have to sit on the former customers

I ordered my usual Reuben sandwich and iced tea. The sandwich was outstanding and was better than some past experiences. The French fries were tasty, though I think I have been served a few more in the past than I received this visit. And my server was pretty good at keeping my glass refilled with iced tea. I was very happy with my experience overall on this visit.

Clyde's was good as usual except for the fact that the AC was set to a very cold temperature and it made dining an uncomfortable experience that wasn't at all necessary.

we’ve been here three times now and it’s consistently wonderful service and food. Nothing fancy but very good food and lots of variety.

The good was delicious (love that chili!) and the servers were friendly and efficient. Great experience.

We got the steak frites and the ribs. Both were great and very taste. The environment is lively and the staff is great. Definitely recommend it!
