Clos Maggiore est une oasis de calme au cœur de Covent Garden. Influencé par les auberges de campagne stylisées de Provence et de Toscane ses intérieurs uniques créent une chaleur et une intimité qui plaisent tant aux gens d'affaire qu'aux particuliers. La véranda a un toit en verre entièrement rétractable créant un espace salle à manger lumineux et aéré, particulièrement agréable pendant les saisons de printemps et d'été. Il se transforme en soirée par l'utilisation de bougies, la lueur des étoiles et un feu crépitant pendant les mois d'hiver. Le Chef de cuisine Marcellin Marc propose une sublime cuisine d'inspiration provençale avec un panache contemporain. Marcellin est déterminé à utiliser des ingrédients locaux et saisonniers pour créer des menus parfaitement équilibrés qui se sont mérités trois rosettes - AA depuis 2008. La vaste cave du Clos Maggiore compte plus de 2000 crus et a été bonifiée plus tôt cette année pour inclure 400 vins supplémentaires à des prix allant d'accessible - à moyen de gamme. Nous sommes très fiers d'avoir obtenu le "Best of Award of Excellence" sans interruption depuis 2003 attribué par le Wine Spectator.

    Very nice food and service. Despite a little delay in giving us our table (around 20 minutes) everything else ran smooth. I’d definitely recommend

    Fantastic value set lunch menu. I had the leekc& potato soup, the ricotta dumplings which were delicious, and the chocolate mousse. All high quality and super tasty. Fantastic service too.

    The food is delicious and beautifully presented; the service is perfect and friendly without being obtrusive; the ambience is excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

    Beautiful good, exceptional actually. We were shown a table upstairs but certainly didn’t book to be seated upstairs, as there’s just no atmosphere. Asked if there were tables downstairs in the dining area we expected to eat and we were accommodated. Service was excellent, as was food and wine. We will just ensure we always request to be seated downstairs for future bookings.

    The food was fair with smaller portions than expected. We found the manner of the waiter who served the drinks to be bordering on rude- he was abrupt and appeared to be rather annoyed one we asked about the options (not what we expected from this establishment)

    A lovely experience in an amazingly romantic, intimate restaurant. Pre-theatre menu was great value for money and the food was lovely. Service was fast but relaxed and the waiters were knowledgable and very friendly. The wine specialist gave us an amazing in-depth recommendation for a Chilean wine which was sublime. To make it even more special, it was my girlfriend’s birthday and all of the staff wished her a happy birthday and brought out a lovely little cake. A restaurant that will be fondly remembered forever!

    We had the lunch set menu. The pork was incredible. Gorgeous starters and desserts too. Wine list is very extensive and we had very good recommendations. We went for wines at around £50-60 and they were very good. The waiting staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and it was a very relaxing experience.

    This was a special Dinner I planned with my fiancée to celebrate our engagement. It could not have been any more magical. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel as if we were the mist important guests in the place. The service and attention to detail was at a level I’ve never experienced. The recommended by the sommelier was on point. The ambiance was again, magical. The food…. OMG!!!! We thought the smaller portions would leave us hungry at the end but not the case. And delicious doesn’t even do it justice. I HIGHLY Recommend this place if you are looking for a perfect evening out. 10 Stars!!!!
