We had lunch in the Michelin star Jamavar in London on Saturday and it was very disappointing. City Spice was the opposite. The staff were a delight and the food delivered even more than the menu promised. Happy to recommend to anyone considering going there. (Don't even think of going to Jamavar)

Great food and great service at really affordable prices. Exactly what a restaurant on Brick Lane should be about. Sadly, that is not the case for a lot of other restaurants on Brick Lane, but at least city spice you know you are getting consistently great food and service.

From Edinburgh with a lot of good Indian restaurants, but this is by far the best curry I have had.

Best Indian food I have ever had, korma and masala were full of flavour, staff were extremely attentive without being overbearing. Perfect for me and my friends.

Absolutely great food, in my opinion the only restaurant to visit in Brick Lane if you want great service, quality classic curries and a lovely atmosphere.
