Circa 1865 is a unique and very French bistro in the heart of Savannah. The food was delicious, the service excellent and the ambiance was charming.

My favorite Savannah Restaurant. We had a couple technical difficulties, but Mary, the manager, promptly made sure everything was resolved and we had a fantastic evening. My only regret is that James Grey, my favorite server, was not on staff.

James was so much fun, he entertained us all night long. He's our favorite little pastry! Food was really good, excellent fresh seafood. Just so expensive!

Great food with an intimate dining experience. We ordered the crab cakes, beet salad, scallops, and fish of the day. Cocktails are unique and delicious. The server gave us a free dessert for our anniversary which was very kind and thoughtful.

Excellent first time experience. Food and service was top notch. Marty our server was so friendly, recommended dishes and was the best! The bar is a fun atmosphere to start off with a cocktail. All staff was very friendly and happy to see you. Will be back!

Last time we loved eating here and everything was wonderful. This time I decided to reserve for my birthday and we ended up leaving without ordering anything at all after a half hour! 1) We got shoved into a barely lit corner booth like 6 inches from another full table 2) There were two servers and both of them tried to go back and forth greeting us for 10 minutes before picking one 3) We were waiting 25+ mins for a wine and canned beer order that i could literally see sitting on the bartop! All the staff vanished when we looked for them so we just left. Disappointed :((

Not very impressed as we’ve dined at what I consider to be true French restaurants that were so much better. Service wasn’t good at all. I think the wait staff were just kids who knew nothing about wine or French food (or how to provide good service for that matter). The scallop appetizer was very good and so was the trout. Bread didn’t taste like a French baguette, there wasn’t any pate on the menu and the French onion soup wasn’t good at all - it was tasteless. We were told this was one of the best restaurants in town, but can’t agree.
