Went to celebrate a friend's birthday and drinks were great. Food was excellent and service was excellent as well. The one thing I would say they need to improve on is the bread. It should be served hot, ours was cold and I love bread. With it being cold it definitely takes away from the taste and makes it tougher. Lobster Mash excellent, steak excellent and even the brussel sprouts and also had oysters and ceasar salad was delicious; enough for 4 people. Would definitely go back and tell them to hold the bread.

We've started a tradition of celebrating birthdays at Christos. The meal never disappoints, and the service is wonderful. We were not rushed through our meal, and we had guidance when we wanted to try something new from the menu. We will continue to celebrate at Christos for years to come.

Everytime I come I feel so welcomed and the food and the staff is amazing. Can't wait till I go again.

table for two ordered two filet mignons, lobster mashed potatoes, garlic broccoli, shared caesar salad, baked clams appetizer and chocolate cake with scoop of vanilla ice cream. The clams were disappointing it did not taste fresh and was underwhelming. The salad was also disappointing in that I've had better at other steakhouses, The salad and dressing was not chilled as it should be. the dessert was nothing special and would pass on next time. I had brought a bottle of wine and the corking fee was $45 which I thought was excessive. The total bill was also excessive compared to other fine steakhouses.

This restaurant was excellent. The food was on point. The service was also wonderful. It's a restaurant that has been in Astoria for a very long time. If you don't live in the neighborhood or you do, please make it a point to visit this restaurant. I know you will not be disappointed.

The appetizer spreads were sensational! We opted for the surf and turf for two. Came with 2 salads (his Greek, mine prisini), a fabulous 2lb lobster broiled and a 10 ounce filet steak. I asked for a true medium and stated pink, not raw in the center. It arrived raw in the center (it is hard to do a 10 ounce steak true medium). The two sides were picked sautéed mushrooms and spinach with feta, both excellent. We added a molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and two espressos to finish off. A wonderful dinner for sure. I’m glad we did the surf and turf and I didn’t just order the 10 ounce filet. I would have had to go home and finish cooking it 😂.

Brought my wife in for her birthday with friends. Restaurant was quiet for a Tuesday, but its also July so that checks out. Our server Ruben was on point, high quality hospitality, no wants/needs were left unfulfilled. The bill was way lower than any of us had expected it to be. We wanna go more often rather than saving it for special occasions. Forget the landmark steakhouses in manhattan, go to Christos.

The salads were very good. The pork chops were precooked and ordered medium and served well done. They were horrible and uneatable.
