The food was so overpriced and not very good - the salad in particular was bitter and soggy, and the crab cakes were very fishy. Our meal was $175 for 2 people without alcohol and it was just as hard to stomach that bill as it was the food itself. We've been coming to Williamsburg for years and this is the worst meal we've had coming here. I won't be back.

We returned to CC's for the first time in 5 years and were not happy. CCs was always an "event" - the finest historical dining establishment in the Historic Area. We were unaware that the dress code was dumped completely and they'd shoved more tables in to accommodate the people in shorts and tshirts. It was loud, and everyone could hear each others conversations. The food, though good, was served in such small portions that we didn't walk away full at all. For instance, we were told the meals came with spoon bread, but when the meals were brought to us they brought one serving the size of a small teacup saucer and DIVIDED IT BETWEEN US! The service was the most positive aspect. They have reduced CCs to "just another tavern" except that instead of being justoverpriced it is WILDLY overpriced. There is no ambience or "specialness" left to it. If we are going to drop $275 on a meal (that was 2 meals, one appetizer, one dessert and 4 drinks) there are places around town where the customers appreciate atmosphere more than they do here anymore. We do not intend to return.

Fun and informative entertainment during a meal which could have been better if served hot instead of barely warm. The food is flavorful and well proportioned but expensive for the average person. The service was great and the dining room was clean. Those who interacted with us were professional and gave great insight into the history of the inhabitants of Colonial Williamsburg. Dining here is always a good experience!

Our experience was absolutely wonderful! The ambiance was terrific, the food was excellent and the server was very attentive and helpful. It is a bit expensive but very much worth it.

Our waitress, Stephanie was amazing. In every aspect of our dining experience. She went above and beyond to help us get our meal exactly the way we wanted. Watching her work she treated all of her clients the same, with respect and joy. Thank you for such a pleasant experience.

We had a great experience at Christiana's Tavern, the candlelight is charming as is the atmosphere. We started with Oysters that were from the Chesapeake Bay and were outstanding. We both had the Crab Cakes that were good but had a little too much filler for our tastes. The menu is a bit limited as are all menus in the historical taverns but understandable due to the nature of the setting. Darren was our waiter and he did an excellent job. We were entertained by a lady playing the guitar who had a lovely voice. All in all well worth the visit.
