    Waitress was abrupt and unfriendly. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I ordered chop steak and wanted it well done. It wasn’t. Sent it back and it was returned to me totally charred. Did not eat it. She took it off the bill. Would I return probably not. When someone asks for well done it’s easy to do idk why it seemed to be so difficult

    The food was absolutely amazing, however even with a reservation we still waited 45 minutes before we were seated. The staff was very friendly but timing was horrible.

    Food was good. Got a table 40 min after my reservation time. However, service was fast. Had a glass of wine but was never offered a second glass which I would have gotten. Overall, it was a nice experience.

    Have lived here for years bit first visit to the Chophouse. We had a 7pm reservation for 2 and we're not seated until almost 7:30. I understand the logistical difficulties but hate when high end restaurants don't properly manage reservations and think if they are more than 20 min seating you for a reservation, there should be an apology and probably an offer of a cocktail. There was neither of these things. Our server was good. The cocktails were good. We had the shrimp cocktail and the chophouse salad to start. The shrimp cocktail was 4 colossal shrimp which were a good size but were nowhere near cold enough. Shrimp cocktail should be ice cold and these were nearly room temp. The chophouse salad was tasty but quite small compared to a traditional steakhouse salad. There was about a 45 minute delay between finishing appetizers and main course coming out. As the restaurant has a small menu with nearly all steaks (which cook quickly) this was a long and unnecessary wait (and probably part of the reason for the delayed seating of tables). We ordered the special cut NY Strip. The quality was good and the temp was correct but it was way way oversalted. The cream spinach was terrible. The half steak fries, half onion rings were good but also very overly salted and 3 of each which given these are shared sides is stupid. Liked the love music and the look and vibe of the place. That being said, won't rush to go back because there are so many better options in Nola.

    Wait staff was very attentive to our needs. Steaks were cooked to perfection and the 1 pound baked potato did not disappoint.

    First time eating here from all our trips to New Orleans—what a place! From the Pittsburgh style steaks to the Caesar salad, delicious. Wanted to try the chocolate cake but it was for 4 people, maybe next time I’ll bring some friends!
