    We were seated near the bar, and there was a large party of people gathered there. It was loud, and made it hard for the servers to get by them with food. It was a special occasion for a family, but it made conversation difficult. I've been to chop House a handful of times, and this was my worst experience by far.

    Had a great anniversary dinner at Chophouse '47! Brooke was incredibly delightful. Food was awesome.

    Wonderful experience start to finish! Excellent service, food quality and atmosphere. Only concern is related to the popularity of the restaurant i.e., very busy, tables filled to capacity for which making having a table conversation a bit of a challenge.

    The restaurant was extremely busy as expected. We never received part of our meal until we were ready to leave after 1.5 hrs. I host customers at this location frequently so I know what the restaurant is capable of.

    The food was incredible. Everyone in our party agreed the steaks were the best we ever had — anywhere. Service was very good. The ambiance was our least favorite part … it was quite dark (low light), noisy and crowded.

    The wait and host staff were working hard during the holiday to seat everyone with welcome and enthusiasm. We appreciated our dining experience!!

    It was an extremely busy night, lots of people waiting to be seated. Hostess was friendly and upbeat, even though it was busy. We were informed they were running behind with an approximate time to be sated. I received a text and call that our table was ready, was seated quickly and treated to excellent service, great food and enjoyable time for us.

    We frequent halls and rick Erwins weekly so we know good service in Greenvile. Tonight was awful. We arrived at 6:20 for our 6:30 reservation. Our friend was 5 minutes away and we were told if we didn't sit early then we would wait over an hour. They sat two large parties near us and crammed us in with little room. I get it’s Christmas, but maybe don’t take so many reservations? The entire dinner felt rushed, yet when we wanted to order we were told the kitchens backed up. It felt like we were a giant burden. Our steak, was not good. Most of our sides were burnt. Asked for more drinks, never got them. Asked for more bread, never got it. I get our waitress was busy, but this is not what we expect for $400+ bill. Then, at the end we got cheesecake to go which I waited on, I was standing up and I got asked by 3 members of staff while I was standing there and that they needed our table. I said, waiting on our to go-cheesecake, and they were like oh well we need your table. Start to finish, awful experience. Waste of money!!!Will not recommend to anyone.

    After making reservations 3 weeks prior to our dinner, we waited 45 min past our reservation time before we were seated. At the time of checking in, we were told it would be a 10 min wait. After waiting 20 min, we were told 10 minutes. Attempted to get a drink at the bar while waiting for our table, after 11 minutes, we were never acknowledged or served by the two bartenders. We were not the only party delayed on our reservations or attempting to get a drink at the bar. Once seated, Our server did a great job but the food was sub par. I understand challenges take place in the service industry but we never felt the staff took any ownership. Chophouse needs to visit Halls Steakhouse and take away their best practices!

    The 45 minute wait for the worst table in the restaurant was only the first problem. Waiting customers milled around our seats, traffic to the bathrooms was a constant flow bumping into our chairs and once seated it took 15 minutes to get some bread AFTER ordering. We saw our server only three times, order, food delivery and the bill. If not for my wife’s birthday (which they knew and could care less about) we would have walked out. Staff management hid in the back and seldom came to the front as there were lots of upset people waiting their turn. I called the next day and have yet to get a return call. Worst experience in any restaurant I’ve ever been to, just a people mill milking their wallets. Stay away
