   We have been going to Chinos for around 15 years. Unfortunately. Crown Plaza who host Chinos appear to have sold out to Raddison. They have massively reduced the menu choices and equally increased the prices. It was always good value for money, now it's just an expensive night. Sadly we won't be returning

   It took us around 2 hours to get our main meals served, and the food was mediocre at best.

   The food was good but we waited nearly an hour for it to arrive despite having asked for it to be served as it was ready rather than waiting for it all to arrive at the same time. The restaurant was not busy. Only two staff on the kitchen. The servers were apologetic and did check in with the kitchen on several occasions but this did not appear to speed things up.

   All we could hear was drunken screaming from the hotel. The food service was slow, had taster menu for 2. One of our main courses came out 15 mins after the other one. Sea bass wasn't seasoned or marinated in chilli as described in the menu. When we asked about it was told its in the sauce at the bottom. The waitress was amazing with us! Saved the meal and the Korean belly pork was lovely

   Very disappointing. Booked for my husbands birthday. Took 2 hours for main course to arrive then only one dish of four arrived followed by next dish 10 mins later. Two further mains still not arrived after 15 mins. Other tables received their meals during this time. Dreadful experience

   The service was poor . The waitresses whilst polite were not observant. Failed to update customers about problems they were having in kitchen nor noticed customers were short of drinks or plates should be removed. We arrived at 7.15 by 9.45 our orders had not been completed. Complaints were made by numerous customers. From my own observations some had waited over an hour to be served. Some left. The overall experience was not good and far below to previous high standard.

   We booked for my son's 21st birthday. He is at university at Nottingham so we were visiting him. We wanted a special evening meal and after reading the reviews for Chino Latino we thought that would be a good option. On getting there its a bit strange as you come through the hotel to get to the restaurant. For a Saturday evening it had little atmosphere and I would describe the decoration as plain and cold. Food choice is limited and, in my opinion, over priced for some basic items. What ruined the evening for us though, was that both myself and my partner requested that the staff do something a little special with the dessert as it was my son's birthday. Just happy birthday written on the dessert or something similar. Not too much to ask and in the past all the restaurants where I have made similar requests have made an effort. What we got was a separate saucer plate with a napkin and a tea light on it! I didn't know whether to laugh. This really spoiled what was supposed to be a special moment. Thoroughly disappointed

   The food was really good aside the inside out wings which weren’t inside out, our last server Rachel was amazing and saved the service with her loveliness however in general, staff training is obviously lacking! After drinks we waited around 20mins for our food order to be taken by which time we called someone over. Our bottle of wine (lid still on) and glasses were plonked on the table and left, the food came in the wrong order and then, when the final pancake for crispy duck was stuck to the basket and I asked for just one more it took another 20 minutes to get one (a basket full that were too late I might add). At this time we spoke to Rachel (who was not responsible for any of these things) who then ensured the rest of our night went smoothly. I have to say that we were given 20% off for the problems we incurred (we were very grateful and gave it back in tip). All in all great food in a restaurant that lacks atmosphere and staff training!! Nice girls that just haven’t been shown what to do sadly! I’d give it another shot though because the food is really good 😊

   Chino is such a lovely restaurant. We love Pan-Asian food and Chino ticks all the boxes for us! Amazing food, great service and a lovely ambience. The staff are all very attentive and Rachel is perfect for front of house - she has a friendly smile and makes you feel really welcome :) We dine here regularly and will continue to do so!

    No atmosphere whatsoever. Slow service. So so slow. One of our party has an allergy and we were told - 'there's nothing you can eat, except certain sushi'. Granted the chef did (eventually) offer a simple steak and it was cooked well, but this was a very special birthday celebration and we felt ignored and they couldn't wait for us to leave. It was not busy at all, and yet we waited ages even for our first drinks. Definitely don't recommend. Sorry, but we did not have a good time
