Le côté historique n'est pas seulement le thème du Chicago Chop House, c'est également le mode de vie. L'établissement a été impeccablement restauré. Cette maison victorienne centenaire composée de briques brunes transporte les convives dans le passé de la ville, lorsque les abattoirs, les politiciens, et les gangsters profitaient des chambres luxurieuses de la maison. Plus de 1 400 photos racontent l'histoire du vieux Chicago à travers trois salles à manger entourés par des murs illuminés. Il sert d'impressionnant steak d'aloyau certifié USDA Prime de 64 oz, des pièces de viande de 16 et 24 oz, et de réputées côtelettes de 24 oz reflétant les saveurs du premier âge. Wanted to find a restaurant that offered both steak and pasta, and chophouse did not disappoint! Celebrating my friend Aaron's 55th birthday here with an amazing New York strip and chicken parmigiana, both dishes were excellent. Cocktails, and even a birthday crème brûlée close out the evening. Our waiter Gabe was absolutely amazing. We'll definitely be back again.

Rating: 3/5 The food was absolutely fantastic. We ordered the baked truffle burrata, creamed truffle corn, sweet potatoes, and bone-in ribeye, and everything was delicious. The flavors were rich, and the portions were generous, making for a memorable meal. However, the service left a lot to be desired. Our dining experience was over two hours long, largely due to slow service. We ordered the appetizer, which was forgotten entirely. When it did finally arrive, our main courses came out at the same time, and the staff started clearing the appetizer before we'd even finished it. I also ordered a second cocktail that never arrived, and after waiting for a while, I had to cancel it. The manager was very kind and offered to comp both the appetizer and my drink, along with a complimentary dessert for the inconvenience. However, the service continued to lag, as we waited at least half an hour after finishing our meal without a check, water, or drinks. When our waiter eventually returned, he brought the dessert menu and a water refill, but we had to remind him about the free dessert. He assured us a crème brûlée would be coming (not our choice), but 25 minutes later, we received both the dessert and our check. While the food was excellent, the slow and disorganized service really impacted the overall experience. It's unfortunate, as the restaurant has great potential if they can address the service timing.

We confirmed that your server attended the table 8 times during your 2-hour dining experience, average every 15 mins. While our dishes are made fresh to order, we acknowledge the delay with your appetizer was longer than expected. We removed the Wagyu meatballs & your Old Fashioned from the check. Your server boxed & bagged your food, served desserts, & processed your check within 20 minutes. We strive to create a comfortable environment for our guests, which is why we typically wait until dessert is served to present the check. We regret that our service style did not meet your expectations.

Our server, Cori, was fantastic! This was my husband’s first visit to the Chop House, and he absolutely loved it. The pianist’s beautiful rendition of Christmas music was the perfect finishing touch to an incredible evening.

My husband and I ate here for the first time before seeing a show. Alyssa was amazing. So kind and welcoming. She made us feel relaxed. She would show up at just the right time and not hover. Service by all was amazing. My steak may be the best steak I have had in Chicagoland. I can't wait to go back.

We go to the chophouse every time we visit Chicago. Fantastic as always, husband had ribeye and I enjoyed filet. We also shared truffle mac. Never disappoints, consistently good!
