   Despite its constant buzz—likely making me the exception—I prefer stopping by the bar for an appetizer rather than committing to a full meal. While the ambience is inviting and the bartenders and host consistently excel, the menu left me wanting more. I sampled the fillet, which was just average, and both the portions and sides were disappointingly small, leaving me still hungry. Service was generally acceptable, although they did forget my drink, prompting me to forgo it and focus on my meal. Overall, it’s not a terrible spot, but the food just doesn’t quite impress me. I’ll likely return for a well-crafted drink at the bar before venturing to other local favorites.

   We dine at Chianti, whenever we are in the area, which is once every couple of months. We find the food and service to be excellent. Always innovative specials and friendly professional service. Unfortunately this will probably be our last visit to this restaurant. The noise level is completely unacceptable. We were seated for the first time in that small room which was beyond overcrowded with tables. The noise level was so loud the server had to yell to be heard, and even then we had trouble hearing her. I have read reviews with response back from the management team. I find the comment it’s busy, to be an acceptable response to this problem. There are many many reviews stating exactly what I am saying. There are some things that could be addressed, possibly take a few tables out it is beyond overcrowded. Our server could barely stand between us and the table next to us to take an order. Perhaps check with a professional company that handles these types of situations. It’s a shame, the food and service are excellent, but the noise makes it a very uncomfortable dining experience. We probably will not return.

We've had sound engineers come in to review what options are available to help control the noise levels. We appreciate your suggestions and will take them into consideration as we strive to improve the overall dining experience.  We hope to have you return to Chianti in the future.

   Great meal; best carpaccio I've ever had. Fettuccine with pork cheeks was spectacular. Sweet potato gelato was really good. Service was sharp and on point. Can't wait to go back!

   Outstanding meal, service and value. It was a little noisy but was also a full house so to be expected. Would definitely return.

   Went for restaurant week and the four of us all had one of the specials. All delicious. We all agreed that in winter, braised ribs really need mashed potatoes! The dessert was out of this world but waiter kept calling it "like a brownie"--but it was a ricotta cake! With gelato-to die for. Waiter was too chatty and lingered too much, but attentive.

    We had a very good dining experience. The food is excellent, cocktails very good as well. The only (slight) downsides were that seating is very tight, with little more than a foot or so between our table and the tables on either side. And, our service was spotty. But, overall a good place for an excellent dinner and we look forward to going back.
