My Third time in Chianti on a Saturday night it was extremely loud with boisterous crowd conversation from a full restaurant. The double portion carpaccio with truffle Gorgonzola sauce was terrific but could have used more sauce. I guess the extra truffle content would make the delicious appetizer prohibitively expensive for most customers. The Capellini with sausage and eggplant was great but it took an hour or more to make its way out of the kitchen and to our table (see photo) Saturdays are busy times for the waitstaff There was No clumped up pasta it was beautifully cooked. Waitress cranked out extra Parmesan and spread it all over the table besides the dish! Very Good restaurant

We had a fantastic time at Chianti. The atmosphere and service were amazing, and the risotto was incredibly delicious. Special thanks to our server for making our night memorable.

It is lovely place to get together with another couple. Our meals were uneven . Some of us had the halibut which was a special of the night and it was overcooked. The pasta with the lobster sauce and shrimp is simply delicious. One person had the duck, and it was not hot when served- portion size was small as well. Maybe just stick to the pasta dishes here. The service was good and our server did ask if everyone was happy with our meals but nobody really wanted to complain and spoil our get together.

Amazing authentic Italian food! The angel hair cappellini with the lobster rabba was incredible! Get the truffle risotto and the carpaccio. Great wine selection and it doesn’t break the bank!

Energetic ambiance a bit too loud, but typical New York. Food was good to excellent with a nice selection of Northern Italian.

This is my second time in Chianti and it was worth going back to. Lively ambience with chattering customers leads to a good social experience in a college town. The Calamari could have been fried more 'golden brown' and was a little undercooked but still good. What a selection of Carpaccio!! Many kinds to choose from we had a double portion of the Classico on a colossal plate. It could have used more Padano though. My Risotto with Filet Mignon bites was excellent with a fragrantly moist, al dente but not over tough like the Italians often do it. My plate lacked for some parsley to go on top, as a color contrast really helps the presentation. Service was top notch and I would go back a third time next time I am in town. See Pics for reference
