Their fish is sublime, the service formal without being stuffy, the white tablecloth and decor give the room a warm, an old world charm. Chiado is a Toronto classic.

Chiado in Toronto is a landmark known for its excellent Mediterranean/Portuguese cuisine, meticulously curated wine cellar, and professional service. Mr. Silve leads the establishment with great expertise, and the team exemplifies professionalism. The chef, whose talent is widely acclaimed, is among the best in town. Exceptional food and exceptional service! My wife and I celebrated our 10th anniversary and we were treated like royalty. One of the best meals we have ever had! Can't wait to go back.

Best ever Dover sole in 50 years. A Seabass just as good as a one we ate in Nafplio Greece a few weeks ago. this is a fantastic fish restaurant but not just that it’s a fantastic restaurant full stop. we had a great celebration. In 35 years into Toronto this is probably the best restaurant we’ve been to. And thanks for the wine tastings.
