Lovely afternoon tea. Very filling. The room is beautiful that it's served in. Get enough room between each course. We couldn't finish it so boxed it up.

We went for the high tea experience. The sandwitches were pre made and didnt taste fresh. No vegetarian option. The scones were delicious but the pasties were ok. Service was very food, but terribly overpriced for what we got.

We also reach out to the person that made the reservation prior to their experience to ask about food allergies and other dietary restrictions. We offer both vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options upon request.

If you are in Memphis and you don’t eat at Chez Philippe you are missing a culinary experience not to be equaled anywhere in the world. This is a 4 Michelin Star restaurant whether they have the actual award or not.

The afternoon tea at Chez Phillipe is divine! The food is incredible and you WILL leave full. You get a course of savories, a scone course with jam and clotted cream, and a desserts course. The tea brand they use (Rishi) is sooo good and they had a large selection of flavors to choose from. I got classic Earl Grey and my husband got the Pu-er ginger. They serve it with local honey, sugar cubes, and milk. The menu changes seasonally, but everything we had was truly yummy. The service is also top notch. It is pricey, but I think it is worth it for the amount of food, the food quality, the service, and the overall ambience (the Peabody and Chez Phillipe are gorgeous). Highly recommend you go and do this for a special occasion!

We ordered the Chef’s Tasting Menu for our anniversary. The ambiance, food, service, and experience were all wonderful. From the pre dinner cider as a palette cleanser, to the final bite at the end of the meal, we enjoyed every bite. A special treat was getting to take one course in the kitchen during the meal. We highly recommend the experience to anyone wanting a special dinner experience.

My high tea experience at Chez Philippe was delightful. Our waiter, Solomon, was friendly yet respectful, as one would expect at Chez Philippe. I have had high tea in various countries and each location has its own unique way of doing things. My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed the Chez Philippe version!
