We ordered the crab cakes that came out a bit overdone and tough to chew. Some of the items could be explained a bit better on the menu to first timers like us.

Pleasant outdoor setting. Server took our order, then returned to tell me they were out of my choice, offered to bring a menu. Menu delivered, waiter left. Salads arrived by another server (and very good) but no sign of original server who was to take my revised order. He showed up, I ordered and meals were finally delivered. Seafood linguine was only clams and shrimp, with bland pasta. My guest’s meat linguine was equally ok but not great.

Their newly imagined patio is unbelievable! Great place to have a drink and enjoy the surrounding lake. We have dined here often and it so happened on this Tuesday eve they were slammed - however our waiter covered for the kitchen and explained that they had several large groups walk in and they were working thru it. My wife and I still had a wonderful experience and will be back.

After a slow and perplexing start for service that part of our experience became a strong point. The food was exceptional from the salads thru entrees. I’ve had a steak in every major city at some renowned restaurants. Chester’s topped them all. My wife had the petite filet and I had the large filet. They were prepared well and were superb. As far as value… we had a four course meal and the $s were well spent.

Unable to cook steaks correctly, sent back 4 times between 2 people. Green beans were undercooked and calamari was not evenly sauced. Some were sauced and others were soggy. Not worth the money! Go to Texas Roadhouse and save some funds.
