Neighborhood French-inspired bistro featuring an ever-changing French-Fusion menu that keeps you coming back to try the things you didn’t have room for.
Marianne’s organic garden helps supply Warren’s kitchen with his beloved fresh produce & both are actively involved in the local food movement.
The ambiance is fusion as well - bistro style rather than “fine dining” - that is at once classic French and comfortable with an open kitchen so foodies can watch the work in progress. Art work is a mix of Mucha prints and Warren’s photography. Music is quirky.
Nightly wine by the glass specials, carefully curated wine list and a delightful cocktail menu round out drinks offerings.
Neither high chairs nor booster seats are available.
Reservations are for a two hour time period.
Classic Parisian style sidewalk seating available.
Warren and his wife Marianne have spent the last twenty-five years delighting diners with their worldly cuisine & genuine hospitality.

My wife and I had a fantastic meal. The staff was very attentive, polite and knowledgeable about the menu offerings and specials. We highly recommend Chef Warren's for anyone finding themselves in Southern Pines or the Greater Sandhills area.

Chef Warren’s has been a consistently fantastic experience for over 25 years. I have eaten there well over 200 times and have always enjoyed terrific food and drink, along with a helpful, attentive, and friendly wait staff. Watching the “ballet” in the display kitchen is a treat!

We had another delightful evening having dinner with our son who was visiting from out of town. Our meals were very good , the service was excellent, no complaints about our experience. Thank you for making our evening memorable!

Where to begin... Sustains: -Service was outstanding. We were tended to by the bartender (Liz?) who was gracious, knowledgeable, and personable. -Team members were very attentive. -Cocktail was delicious. Improves: -This is a restaurant that touts French cuisine. Even with an American twist, it is at its best...meh. -The snails were overly pungent with lemon and garlic. It was off putting to the entire party. -The short ribs and lamb dish tasted as though they were cooked for a retirement home. This made sense considering the number of geriatric patrons the establishment caters to. -If you're going to name an establishment after yourself, you'd better be able to back it up. Don't claim "French" if you can't cook French. (I'm Parisian. Not Canadian- the real deal. Are you??) -The interior is dated, which further corroborates my assumption that it thrives off of the local retirees. My unsolicited advice: look beyond those who love to name drop. Modernize. Clean it up. Brighten it up. Liven it up. You're competing with restaurants that are further out and well worth the trip. -Pecan pie was dry. Ice cream was good! Overall, this place is overrated, overpriced, and extremely underwhelming. I'd suggest somewhere in the RDU area for a quality meal worth a couple hundred (and open later on a Saturday date night).

Chef Warren's is a gem. We try to visit it each tike we are in the Pinehurst area.
