An early dinner after seeing a matinee. Arrived early and were seated without issue. Very few patrons at that time 5:15 pm. The burrata appetizer special was delicious. The bread, oil, olives and cheese were delightful. The chicken parm and bolognese were great. I was disappointed in the shrimp scampi, shrimp were tough and lacked that true scampi garlic and herb flavor. Very attentive staff. Noted a birthday in the reservation and the staff delivered with tiramisu and song.

Did not acknowledge my husband’s birthday. When asked if this was a special event on opentable, I selected birthday. Our waiter never asked or mentioned it even though it was on the reservation. Waiter was not overly friendly felt like we were inconveniencing him. Also, upon arrival, the hostess acted like didn’t have a reservation. She said “let me if we any tables available “ The place had plenty of empty tables when we were seated. Not the experience I excepted for a restaurant that is fine dining.

I picked this restaurant to meet with friends I haven't seen in 20 years as it was close enough to Grand Central and happy I did. I got there and at the door heading out was the man himself Chaz, he was taking a photo with a client so I didn't bother him but wish I had! The ambiance was lovely, the food was amazing and the staff was impeccable! I look forward to going back soon.
