I went with three of my friends to Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar before heading to a show. The food and drinks were all really tasty, and the service was very friendly. We had built in plenty of time before our show, and we were having fun catching up with each other, so we weren't bothered by the fact that our food seemed to be a little slow arriving. However, the management and staff clearly were, and they brought us several really lovely complimentary items to apologize for it. It was greatly appreciated and showed they pride themselves in offering great service. If you like good Mexican food and drinks, I would recommend you give Chayo a visit.

The food was just meh, in my opinion. Guac was bland. Margaritas were pretty good. The offputting part of our experience was the pigeon population. I’m all for outside dining, but the pigeons are aggressive and will fly onto your table even with you sitting right there. Ha! I watched them dive bomb several people while we were there. Not sure how the staff could better control that, but we would definitely not recommend this place because of that. There are far better spots to choose.

We are locals that decided to play tourists for the night, so we made reservations at Chayo before a comedy show at the Linq. The restaurant is very large with indoor and outdoor seating plus some seating upstairs. The service was friendly but slow. I ordered a white sangria, but it tasted very watered down and there was no fruit . We had chips and salsa and our entrees came with rice, beans, sour cream, and pico de gayo. My husband ordered the fajitas and enjoyed them. Based on the reviews I ordered the sweet corn enchiladas. When they finally arrived, I noticed that the center was cold so I sent them back. The manager came out and was very apologetic and offered us dessert on the house, which was very nice of him. Overall we did enjoy our dinner and all the people watching but I felt it was overpriced and the quality of the food could use some work.

Took my wife out for a lunch date and it was great. Solid value for the amount of food we got. Great customer service, will definitely return!

All of the guests seem to be in one area under the outside patio and the music was blaring so loud you couldn’ hear your server. That isn’t an enjoyable dinner experience. Our food was good. The service was average. The prices are ridiculous high for what you get. I ordered the taquito appetizer and for 2 pieces it was $18. That’s a rip off.

I went here for my birthday and had a reservation for an indoor seat for two. The hostess rudely said i needed to sit outside. I said my reservation was for inside. It was not full. I asked for a booth there was plenty again told no and seated next to two large parties. When a server finally came over i wanted to start with drinks and appetizer and he goes I’ll take your dinner too. We got our appetizer no drinks then dinner all within twenty minutes of arriving at restaurant. It was mediocre. Never got our drinks had to remind him. Then took 40 mins to get to go box and bill. It was just a horrible experience for my birthday. Would not recommend.

The margaritas and queso were wonderful but the food was not very flavorful and the meats were dry. We sat outside and that was really nice.
