From June through October, there is free entertainment on the Winery Courtyard every Sunday. January through March, free concerts are held inside above the Tasting Room every Sunday from 1-4. The winery hosts two Black Dog Music Festivals annually featuring nationally known bands. Reservations are highly recommended during these events. We had a wonderful lunch sitting outside on the deck on this beautiful day! All of the staff are Great! Sadie always takes good care of us, She and Goonie are both so nice and we always enjoy seeing them! We love coming here and can’t wait to return!

We sat outside for lunch. It was an absolutely beautiful day. The food and wine were delicious and our server, Chris was amazing! It's always a pleasure to visit Chateau Morrisette! Thank you!

What a wonderful lunch! We were able to sit outside on the deck and enjoy the beautiful weather and music coming from the winery patio. We had such a great server who made the experience even better. The food was delicious. The shrimp and grits had way more shrimp that what you typically get at a restaurant. Will definitely be back!

First time at the restaurant and it didn’t disappoint! Amazing views and outstanding food before we went to listen to live music. Can’t wait to return!

We have visited Chateau Morrisette Winery many, many times and have always enjoyed the wine, the food and the grounds. Unfortunately today we were incredibly disappointed in the food / restaurant. This was the first time we've eaten in the restaurant since they reopened. We had been told on previous winery visits that they had a new chef. Honestly I wish they'd bring back the old one or at least the old recipes. The shrimp and grits used to be soooooo good! Today, definitely not. It was shrimp (generous portion and well cooked), a small serving of grits and a oddly seasoned red sauce. No sausage (even though our waitress talked about the chorizo they use being a little spicy...?) and no veggies, (onion, green peppers...) nothing. We also had the crab cakes, they were okay, definitely more cake than crab and the Brussel Sprouts which were DELICIOUS! By far the best thing we ate there today. We were also disappointed that we were not allowed to eat outside on the patio. We were told they were not seating anyone due to the storm (there was no storm or even rain) but within 10 minutes of us being seated they were seating the patio. Overall just a very disappointing lunch. The winery however was it's typical lovely time. We went prior to lunch and purchased a bottle + a glass (hubby and I like different wines). Then after lunch we returned to do the tasting as we enjoy trying the different wines there. Our tasting was with Mr. Ray who was wonderful. Lots of knowledge and little stories. We really enjoyed our time with him. Next time we'll just skip the restaurant and either purchase a cheese plate in the winery (which looked very good, fresh and generously portioned) or just pack our own little picnic.
