I had a reservation. My table was sat at 8:30pm. We did not receive any water or menus until 9:00pm. We were not able to place our orders until 9:30pm. Our server Greg was very polite and helpful. However it seemed as if the white servers did not want to serve my party. We were the last table in the back dinning area.

First time going to the restaurant. Staff was very friendly. Was informed walking in that there was a no hat policy which I immediately removed it. I can appreciate the fine dining atmosphere. Waiter was punctual and checking in frequently to make sure we had the best experience. Food quality was great. Went for anniversary and gave us a complementary desert. Very nice of them. Would recommend to anybody. Five stars all day long

I remember their food to be great - was not. It is sooo prepared, can’t remove mussels, from a seafood dish. Dishes tasted very ‘prepared’, not fresh. SO MANY waiters/waitreses, learking, wanting you to leave for your table to move you out quick - it was like being at a fast food restaurant. Very disappointed!!! We were only there 20 minutes for a full sit- down meal. It was weird - unless everyone is in an incentive plan to move as many people through as possible to get more $$, or more tips. Very strange. Won’t go back!!

Well.... Unexpectedly, I was quite disappointed with our visit to Charlie Gitto's. After being regular customer for over 30 years we figured there had to be a change of staff or something. Reasons: we weren't told about any specials, weren't asked if we were there for any special occasion, had pasta which should have been cooked longer (is it no longer made in-house? I'm thinking not), had a filet mignon that actually had tough parts to it as well as not being seasoned very much and felt like we were being rushed through our meal. What used to be something special at Charlie Gitto's certainly was not this time. Maybe it was a bad night but it appears they've cleaned house with their staff and have let their standards seriously fall. Can't believe I have to say it but given the prices on the menu I feel I'm being generous with the food and service rating. Very disappointing and we're now on the lookout for a new go-to fine dining establishment.

Dinner was fantastic! Haven’t been there in years , grew up in St. Louis and traveling thru and made sure we did a pit stop just to have dinner . Everything was wonderful!
