Chapter One est un restaurant européen moderne situé juste à l'extérieur de Orpington dans le Kent. Il est fermement reconnu comme l'un des meilleurs restaurants du pays, détient quatre rosettes AA et a récemment reçu les titres de 'Restaurant et Chef de l'année' décernés par le Kent Life Food and Drink Awards. Le chef exécutif Andrew McLeish et son équipe ont créé un menu européen moderne et impressionnant, se concentrant sur les merveilleux ingrédients saisonniers et sur une carte des vins qui complémente parfaitement la cuisine raffinée d'Andrew. Chez Chapter One, offrir une valeur qualité-prix est aussi important que servir de la bonne nourriture. Fabulous Sunday roast sirloin lunch. Gorgeous beef, Yorkshire, roasties, green beans and delicious red cabbage. Could have been hotter, but I like my food steaming hot.

Food and service was excellent. Even accommodated our son when he walked in on his way home from school.

This is one of our favourite locations. The food and service are excellent. However, on Thursday 13th, roadworks outside of the restaurant spoilt our day. I think the those who have booked should receive a text message about this issue.

Outstanding traditional restaurant with great food and service. Wine list is world class with some wines from the greatest wineries in the world e.g. Gaja and good basic wines. Spacious. British food at its best.

As always the good and service was superb. One criticism was charging £3 for extra gravy. Made it the talking point and not the amazing meal. Just add a bit more to the meal, it’s good value. Come on chapter 1
